A side view…

and finally the inside!

The mitten is stamp #A3988 Cozy Mitten and the sentiment is #E4001.  All The stamps I used are from Printworks, HERE You can contact Nicole to order by email or phone with the info from this link … or order on their online store, HERE, just add the new stamps to the comment box when you check out and Nicole will email you an invoice to pay.

I colored with Copic Sketch Markers… for the bluish color I used a lot of colors… I know…I’m a wacky colorer! lol  I started with BG72 all over,  then BG93 all over,  then BG000 all over…still not happy so I brought in the cool grays, C1, 3, 5, 7… they fixed it! lol  The red is W3 all over,  then R24 all over, then brought in some R27, then less of R29 and even less of E07.  All the shadowing/shading is the cool grays, C00, 1, 3, 5.  The cheeks…don’t ask! eeek!

Martha Stewart punches except the heart is a medium EK Success Paper Shaper punch.  The pattern paper is new and from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamp shop, HERE… it’s called Wintertime by Echo Park… fun stuff…double sided and the pack is 6×6 for easy shipping to you!  Frosted Lace Stickles all over the place…easy to use… HERE or HERE.

Happy stamping and shopping… let me know if you need any help with Printworks!  Thanks for stopping by!

All I want for Christmas…

I’m stuck on the Front Panel Side Step card… help! lol  Oh, I had fun thinking about this card and making it happen! Scroll down several posts for the one I made with Native American Tilda.  I love this Santa from Magnolia’s new Merry Little Christmas collection.  The little holly by the sentiment is also from this collection.  I LOVE holly!  I dyed the pearls red with Adirondack alcohol ink.  cool!  The sentiment is from Amy R’s new Holiday Greetings set.  You know I love it! lol

Isn’t the Mistletoe border to die for?!!!  I love it!  I just did a little bit of shaping on the back side with my shaping tool on a mouse pad and then edged it with black soot distress ink and my ink blending tool.  Added the pearls and used some mounting squares so it’s popped up a bit.  The pattern paper is BG Jovial and the red paper I stamped the brick pattern on is from the new 8×8 October Afternoon Seaside paper pad.  A really neat pad.

This is my card for  Crazy 4 Challenges want to see a Christmas card or project…

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate it!

Tilda in her Christmas Coat for Sweet Stop Sketches Saturday…

A Winter coat would feel real good here in Iowa today!  brrrr  The wind makes it seem colder than it is!  The cold means Christmas is coming!  I’ve colored Tilda with her Christmas coat, with Copic Sketch Markers. I used a Merry Christmas sentiment and Nestabilities dies to cut the ovals. The pattern paper is NOEL from Making Memories 8×8 pack, the paper ribbon on the bottom is from Anna Griffin and the buttons and the ribbon are from “the collection”.  Lots of fond childhood Winter memories… so this is rather nostalgic!

My Tilda card is for the Sweet Stop Sketches Challenge Post today…Hope you can take the challenge!

The Sketch…

I also made this with five other challenges in mind… ABC Challenge with a theme of Holiday…Color Throwdown Challenge blog wanted to use the colors, soft suede, kraft and cherry cobbler…Case Study Challenge blog, case Heather’s card…Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog with a theme of anything goes…Totally Gorjuss Challenge blog with a theme of traditional colors.
