Hello everyone! How is it February already! This month is going to fly by too! Our family is in the midst of preparing for a wedding! One of our grandsons is getting married! It’s pretty exciting but shopping for a dress and shoes…eek…time consuming! I haven’t dreamed up a card for them yet! lol

I decided to play around with this new die set a couple weeks ago and had this idea but it ended up too large to be symmetrical so I tried it as a vertical slimline and didn’t like it at all until I turned it horizontal! whew! lol

Are you enjoying the NEW Nordic line from poppystamps the last couple releases? There’s a ton of designs!

I used the Nordic Crown Flower and Scallop Pinpoint Hearts here. The smallest of the hearts.

I needed a sentiment so I went digging and found this Love Jotted Script from Memory Box and went with it.

I used some pink and green cardstocks from my ancient stash! lol

The white background panel is from a Hobby Lobby watercolor pad.

poppystamps Sending Love Poe Script and Criss Cross Heart Foil Plate and Stencil…

Hi everyone! Still in Valentine mode here…when I finished this card I thought, ‘watch out Hallmark’! lol Because irl, it looks like a Hallmark card! I’ve arrived! hahahahahahahahaha

I really tried hard not to have reflections in the gorgeous gold mirror/foil cardstock. Almost imporssible!

So this is why all the pictures in weird positions! lol

tada! 99.9% on this last one! lol

Very basic card…. clean and simple even! I foiled a piece of A2 cardstock with the new poppystamps beautiful Criss Cross Heart Foil Plate…

It’s hard to see in my photos but I used the new poppystamps Criss Cross Heart Stencil to up the red on the hearts but it’s really hard to see in my pictures. It’s very subtle, but I love it!

I die cut the next largest Memory Box Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out die in gold mirror/foil cardstock. I love this stuff from Starlitstudio.

For the sentiment I die cut the new poppystamps Sending Love Poe Script die in Memory Box Black Glossy cardstock! I know, I keep saying it but it’s awesome stuff too!

I layered the foiled heart panel on black gloggy too… so narrow but so classy! I wish you could see this in real life! hehe

Birch Press Design Banner Heart Layer Die Set Card…

Hi again! Hearts a plenty! Next it’ll be bunches of flowers! lol

Once you start cutting these layers, you wonder what it’d look like this way or that and end up with slimline cards! Birch Press Design NEW Banner Heart Layer set….3 dies in the set. I didn’t even try just using one or by twos! How about little stars up in the right hump! Patriotic is good too! Hearts for all occasions really!

I like the pink and more card but you know…I’m partial to red! ❤

Nothing out of the ordinary here…die cut and glue together.

I did get some stamping on this one though. Using the Memory Box Big and Little Valentines stamp set… I curved the stamps on a block… they stamped great! I stuck the cutouts that I threw away in the spot to test though. I’m a tester stamper! lol I suppose every once in a while I gamble but for the most part I’ve learned my lessons well! lol

For the this one, I used the Memory Box Slim Confetti Plate for the front panel/background… I thought it was playful and fun with the banner look. Reminds me of that candy that came in dots on paper and you picked it off to eat it. gag. Can’t believe the stuff I ate as a kid! Much better on a card!

The sentiment here is from the NEW Birch Press Design Sugar Script Sentiments 1 Hot Foil Plate and die set. I foiled it in silver on Memory Box Black Glossy cardstock.

I placed the hearts on wonky and straight. I think they’ll mail fine. I can’t believe postage is going up again. ugh

Happy Thursday to you and I’m on to the next birthday card. Our youngest grandson turns 8 tomorrow! Doesn’t seem possible! We are blessed!

Memory Box Heart Ring Stack Card…

Hi everyone! I always have to make some CAS (clean and simple) Valentine cards. All my favorite things in an easy card!

I love traditional stamping and paper bits! Using up some scraps…and the white border almost like white embossing on kraft!

I had good luck with photos today! Another dreary day. My Nikon likes dreary I guess…more than I do for sure! ugh

I always love adding this lightweight MayArts jute too…

The cardstock I’m using is from Hobby Lobby…their extra heavyweight kraft. I love it but this ream must be cut wrong because it curves. I need to put it under a stack of books! I still love it though! ❤

What are your favorite colors for Valentines? It’s kinda fun to mix it up a little but it seems I don’t stray far from kraft, white, black and of course RED!
