I used Lili’s Chalkboard.  So cute!  The chalkboard is pretty good size and fun to add a sentiment.  I colored it black with copic sketch markers,  the N’s and stamped a clear stamp in white pigment ink over it, let it dry and then went over the letters and flower with a sharpened Prismacolor white color pencil. (looks like chalk to me!)  Lili is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Papertrey Ink card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Pattern paper is from October Afternoon.  The spelling background is a BLine Designs rubber stamp. The school bus charm is also available in the Inky Impressions web store, HERE….Nicole has cool charms and embellishments, take a look!  Lili was cut out with an elongated rectangle Nestabilities die, HERE.  Martha Stewart and EK Success border punches.. Saturday…time for a new Sweet Stop Sketch challenge!  I used my new Magnolia Doohickey Doily flowers and Bon Voyage Foliage dies HERE, a new Printworks stamp, D4066 Face Value,  HERE (add the item number to the comment box or email/call Nicole to order), The open scallop circle is a Nellie Snellen die but check out the  new ones from Spellbinders HERE….aren’t they cool!  The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch,  pearls are from Hero Arts HERE,  Martha Stewart ribbon through Basic Grey paper ribbon HERE. The patten papers are from a mat stack type pad from K & Company.  Bazzill card-stocks for the base and matting.

Meet Nickie Running Late For School….that’s the story of my life! lol   The Fall release from Inky Impressions is awesome!  Nickie is one of six new images.  Every day for the next week there will be a new post on the Inky Impressions Blog showing the new images.  Then a blog hop with the release date!  I know,  it’s a killer waiting!!!

Nickie Running Late For School is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. The ruler charm is from Inky Impressions…awesome charms, HERE. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts, the “class notes” and A+ are from a dollar clear stamp set and the floral border stamp is from a Stampin Up Tag set.  abc123 border is a Martha Stewart border punch,  the flower border is an EK Success border punch.  The hearts are from a Quickutz die…cut mulitple times and layered up to be like chipboard.  A Marvy daisy punch and the branch is a die from Joycraft. The little button is from Lasting Impressions for Paper and the cord from JoAnns. Pattern Papers are from the Recess 6×6 pad by Basic Grey.

Fall Birgitta…

New for September from CC Designs!  This sweet little Swiss Pixie Birgitta!  What a doll!  You’ll find her HERE in the store at All That Scraps.  I stamped her on PaperTrey Ink card-stock,  with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.  Hair E31, 55, 57,  Skin E000, 00, 01, 11, diluted R20 Dress YR61,65,68, 97  Fence E40’s.  Nestabilities square dies and a Marvy little leaf punch.

Dig this new leaf border from EK Success… cool!  I added the embossing lines and rubbed a little brown ink on it too.  Papers are Basic Grey paper from a couple different 6×6 pads. Manilla is the script paper pad.  Sentiment is from Rosie’s World and the oval punches are by EK Success.

Pumpkin Baby….

So adorable and fun to color!  CC Designs Sweet November Baby Trick or Treat Pumpkin is new for August and you can find it HERE!  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  The orange in this Mine Minds Eye paper was a little different than what I think of as ordinary orange so I used  E95, 97 and YR18.  I love this rickety looking fence border punch from Martha Stewart HERE.  The pumpkin border is a new EK Success border punch.  The pumpkin charm is from Inky Impressions HERE.  I forgot to take a picture with the tag pulled out!  I stamped the sentiment on the tag.  The leaves border is a CC Designs stamp also HERE.   I stamped it in Antique Lined Distress ink.  All the papers are edged with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress ink HERE.

I used the Friday Sketchers Challenge Blog sketch…I had to consider the dividing line on the ledger paper as the separation in the sketch! I read someone describe that as creative license!  Is there a tax on that yet?! ugh!  sorry about that! lol

The challenge on the Critter Sketch Blog this week is Think Fall… cool… I’m ready for cooler weather and low humidity and low pollen… yep,  I’m picky! lol
