You’re the pick of the patch!

Lili and I agree….YOU’RE the pick of the patch!  It’s that time of year!  Pumpkins everywhere!  So,  I had this “idea” yesterday a.m. (so glad when I have one! lol)  to make this old fashioned looking pumpkin.  Can’t think of what the stuff is called…seems like Martha Stewart sells it… oh, maybe it’s honeycomb???  That is the look I was going for anyway…

I  ♥  it!  I punched 7 Punch Bunch ovals and folded them in half and taped them together.  The stem is a piece of brown card-stock that I rolled around my paper piercer and then glued the end and glued it to the leaf behind… isn’t it just the clever – ist thing?!!! hahahaha…the silliest things make me happy!  The “vine”,  don’t tell anyone but it’s really a holly die cut from Sizzix…ugh… but I liked it as a vine, think outside the box…see you didn’t realize it was holly,  did you?! I don’t really want to know! lol  It’s a cool die…one of those 12 in. long Sizzlets,  has a NOEL on it and a cool frame. The item # of the die is 656293.

My card today is for the Inky Impressions Challenge blog post – “anything goes”… click on over and join the fun!  The challenge is for two weeks,  can’t wait to see what you create!  You gotta top my pumpkin!!! lol

A side shot… (of that pumpkin)  : )

This really is about Lili (leelee) and her pumpkin…not about my pumpkin but I guess I shouldn’t write posts at night cuz I get silly! *cough*  You will find this awesome Lili and the other new releases from Inky Impressions, HERE.  Lili is colored with Copic Sketch Markers on Papertrey Ink card-stock.  Her hair is the E30’s, jacket is BV01 & 02, jeans are E40, 41 and 42, pumpkin is YR00, 02, 04, 07, YG93 & 95, skin is E000,00,01 and diluted R20 (R000)  Do you know if you can dilute a color with blender fluid?

I used Oval Nestabilities HERE and Labels 10 HERE.  The super fun sentiment is from Amy R’s Autumn sentiment set HERE.  K & Co. pattern papers… Stampin Up Old olive and Cajun “something” card-stock. Making Memories brads.  All the papers are edged with Distress inks HERE.

Sweet Stop Sketch meets Lili “falling for you”!

It’s that time of year…leaves, changing colors…bringing welcome relief from the heat and humidity of Summer! Lili is enjoying Saturday romping in the fallen leaves!  She’s so cute and reminds me so much of our granddaughters… especially the two that have red hair!  We have five grandchildren with red hair… how cool is that!  oh,  I am biased! lol

Lili from Inky Impressions rubber stamps, is stamped on Beckett Expression card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink HERE and Colored with Copic Sketch Markers HERE.  Notice that cool picket fence….a new die from Magnolia HERE.  Then,  you gotta love that notebook border die too HERE!!!  The sentiment is HERE in this fall set… love it! The teeny words in a line are from a set by Technique Tuesday… the row of leaves is a new punch from EK Success.  I edged the circle nestabilites with Antique Linen distress ink HERE and the Nestabilities circles are HERE.

Here’s a close up of Lili playing in the leaves…so cute… look at all the detail!!!!  She’s got personality for sure!!!

Sweet Stop Sketch Saturday and Pumpkin Marci…

A cutie straight from the pumpkin patch!  Pumpkin Marci is from Lala Land Crafts, HERE.  So fun to color…love her shoes!  Always have had a weakness for shoes! Marci is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink HERE on Neenah Classic Crest 80# card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers HERE.   I colored her a month or so ago,  so I’m not going to be real exact on the colors…pretty sure her shoes are the E40’s and the orange is YR12, 14 and 18….can’t remember her hair. Seems like the greens are YG41, 45.  Two Martha S. border punches, the fence HERE and the pumpkins.  Oval Nestabilities HERE.  The word border stamp is from Technique Tuesday,  the corner leaf flourishes and the word Autumn are from Inkadinkado.  The trees in the background are from Kodomo, a wood mounted tree set.

Here’s the Sweet Stop Sketch 75 for today!  Check it out and join the stamping fun!!! The DT is so inspiring with their cards every week!

I know, the sketch police are chasing me! NOT! lol  I didn’t get the shape quite right..oops!  and when I got stopped,  I pulled out my “creative license” again! ugh! lol  I tried,  I did!!!  I really did…but then that 6×12 piece of card-stock was laying there leftover from the last card that needed a green base… so I used it! lol

The challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar is “Anything Goes” and over at Charisma Cardz Challenge it’s “Anything Goes”.  Stamp Something Challenge blog is “Fall Colors”  so I’m linking up!

have a great weekend everyone!  Appreciate your comments and the sharing you do on your blogs too!

(looks like chalk to me!)  Lili is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Papertrey Ink card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Pattern paper is from October Afternoon.  The spelling background is a BLine Designs rubber stamp.
