Spellbinders Classic Road Legends Release…

Hi everyone!  It’s been so long since I posted I hope I haven’t forgotten how!  It’s been a busy Spring!  It’s time to get back to work though!

My two cards today are part of the May release from Spellbinders.  So much potential with these sets for all the men’s occasions we make for!

Die cutting and a little stamping is all for this one! On the inside I stamped “Have a wheel-y great day!”

A2 size.  I loved the green color of this cardstock but neither my phone or my Nikon could capture it right!  It’s much better in hand!  Sun is bright this week I guess! The top and bottom strips and center are silver mirror cardstock.

My next card uses the NEW Timeless Truck!

These colors aren’t right either but oh well! lol  Use colors you like is all I can say!

Here I used the NEW stencil set, Scenic Drive,  for the background… I love stenciling like this!

Then die cutting and gluing the truck together.  I love that it’s so easy to tell where the parts go!

Then a little stamping again with the NEW Cruisin’ By Sentiments.  It comes with the dies too!  I stamped on the inside too.  Forgot to take a picture… “Thought you could use a little pick up”.

I made this a square card but it would be easy to change to an A2, A6 or A7 size to mail with one stamp.

Comment or email if you have any questions!

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my cards!

Time for Another Birthday…The Stamp Market

I bought this card kit from The Stamp Market last year because I thought it’d be so great for masculine cards!  This is my second time to use it!  You can’t buy it anymore but they have kits coming out all the time and they’re only available for a limited time.

I love how it works up.  Oh, I used a Memory Box die on the panel.  I’ll see if I can find it.

HERE it is…

Die cutting and a little stamping.  Oh, the cake is an old Memory Box die set.

A person could almost make this with circle and rectangle dies. hehe

On the inside I stamped a Penny Black birthday sentiment.

A 2 Size…holler if you have any questions!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Spellbinders Little Smiles Collection Card…

Hi everyone!  Cute card to share today!  What a fun set! Paired with Little Smiles Sentiments you can cover a few occasions!

I went with Spellbinders cardstock colors that I had…made a darker pink with a Copic marker and white cardstock.

Basic card… die cut and glue.  I did Betterpress the Sentiments.  So fun… I love this look!

Spellbinders thinks of everything when they create these sets… There’s black pieces to die cut to glue behind the eyes/nose…so easy!

I cut a strip of gray and added the white lines with a gel pen and a ruler.

I used the Nested Postage Labels & Tag set to make the background, then the stitched rectangle in the set to make the panel, then to cut all the background pieces, cloud borders and road.

The cloud border is from the NEW Bundle of Joy set in the Little Smiles Collection.  Links below…   I used it to cut the clouds and the faux look of green hills behind the bunny/car.  I love how it worked up!

Some glitter cardstock for the hub caps and car lights.   I think that’s everything.

Thank you so much for clicking over and have a great week! Cardmaking for me today…family birthday!

Spellbinders Bundle of Joy Card…

Welcome Baby!  Such a super cute set from Spellbinders Little Smiles Collection for March. I don’t need baby cards very often but this set will be perfect when I do.  So adorable!

I finally caved and bought a Betterpress set!  I’ve been faking it with the how to’s from you tube but I have to say this is SO MUCH EASIER! lol  I’m glad I bought it!

I used the new Little Sentiments Betterpress set.  It’s great… you do a bunch of sentiments at once, die cut them all at once too!  Not my normal way of doing things because I’m not one to have the bowl of unused stuff on my table to work from.  I like all these though! lol

The purple of my card is brighter than it’s showing up in my photos. I don’t know how to fix that.  I used my camera instead of my phone this time.

So basic die cutting here, easy compared to taking and editing pictures! hohoho  I love the stork’s usps old fashioned hat!  I don’t know if they wear these anymore.  Last week I saw the carrier and he had green hair soooo I guess they’re leprechauns now! haha

It’s an A2 size card. I used the Essential Arches Die set for the panel.  The cloud border and stars are in the Bundle of Joy set. Super fun!  There’s another cute set from this Little Smiles collection I’ll be showing you soon.  There’s an embossing folder and Betterpress plate also! I’ll link the whole collection below.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy cardmaking week to you!

Birch Press Design and Freshly Made Sketches…Two Cards…

Hello everyone!  Two cards to share with you that I made with the same dies!

Basic cards made with dies…no stamps!

Birch Press Design Rosebud Arch Contour Layers die set comes in the cool folder packaging with the color picture insert for how to put the designs together!  It’s so helpful and you don’t have to change anything for storage!  Magnet sheet included!

Birch Press Design Hello Vintage Sentiment die set…I cut from two colors and was able to make two sentiments and throwing away nothing!  YAY! (there are two sizes of this die, I used the smaller one)

I use scor-tape to assemble the hellos, no messy gluing!

I followed the card challenge blog Freshly Made Sketches for this card.   Linking to challenge #675.

Here’s two more pictures of the wreath…

The wreath card is 5 ½ inches square.

I added some gems from the pastel Fairy gems by Memory Box.

I used Memory Box cardstocks and plaid paper.

One more picture of the A2 size card…

Holler if you have any questions!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
