All I want for Christmas…

I’m stuck on the Front Panel Side Step card… help! lol  Oh, I had fun thinking about this card and making it happen! Scroll down several posts for the one I made with Native American Tilda.  I love this Santa from Magnolia’s new Merry Little Christmas collection.  The little holly by the sentiment is also from this collection.  I LOVE holly!  I dyed the pearls red with Adirondack alcohol ink.  cool!  The sentiment is from Amy R’s new Holiday Greetings set.  You know I love it! lol

Isn’t the Mistletoe border to die for?!!!  I love it!  I just did a little bit of shaping on the back side with my shaping tool on a mouse pad and then edged it with black soot distress ink and my ink blending tool.  Added the pearls and used some mounting squares so it’s popped up a bit.  The pattern paper is BG Jovial and the red paper I stamped the brick pattern on is from the new 8×8 October Afternoon Seaside paper pad.  A really neat pad.

This is my card for  Crazy 4 Challenges want to see a Christmas card or project…

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate it!

Copic addicted….

You know you’re Copic addicted when you……

COLOR on Colored card-stock!!!! lol  I ♥ the look of it though!  : )

Today is review preview for CC Designs November release over at All That Scraps… HERE.  I made a small gift box that could easy hold quite a bit of Dark Chocolate (my fave) or even a lot of cash!  OK,  I’ll take the cash! hohohohohoho!

I stamped the holly and berries stamps on SU textured green and cherry cobbler card-stock. Cut the holly and the berries out and colored with Copic Sketch Markers R24, 27,29 and YG91, 93, 95 … I know… it was fun though!  Great therapy after a busy day with my awesome Grandchildren!  The sentiment is another from the new Merry And Bright stamp set by Amy R. HERE. I stamped it on each side of the lid… yes,  I used my stamp a ma jig!  I say it every-time,  I love all these sentiment sets…I always find something I can use for the project I’m working on! Pattern paper is BG Eskimo Kisses 6×6 pad. Check out the new BG Jovial 6×6 pad for Christmas this year… it’s gorgeous! HERE The box is cut from  Accucut dies.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tilda in her Christmas Coat for Sweet Stop Sketches Saturday…

A Winter coat would feel real good here in Iowa today!  brrrr  The wind makes it seem colder than it is!  The cold means Christmas is coming!  I’ve colored Tilda with her Christmas coat, with Copic Sketch Markers. I used a Merry Christmas sentiment and Nestabilities dies to cut the ovals. The pattern paper is NOEL from Making Memories 8×8 pack, the paper ribbon on the bottom is from Anna Griffin and the buttons and the ribbon are from “the collection”.  Lots of fond childhood Winter memories… so this is rather nostalgic!

My Tilda card is for the Sweet Stop Sketches Challenge Post today…Hope you can take the challenge!

The Sketch…

I also made this with five other challenges in mind… ABC Challenge with a theme of Holiday…Color Throwdown Challenge blog wanted to use the colors, soft suede, kraft and cherry cobbler…Case Study Challenge blog, case Heather’s card…Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog with a theme of anything goes…Totally Gorjuss Challenge blog with a theme of traditional colors.

I stamped the tree with Memento Rich Cocoa ink HERE… shaded a little on the left side with copic sketch markers, HERE, E43 & 44…then I colored all around the tree with seven different colors to get it to match the paper!!!! EEK!  I started with BG10 and cannot remember what came next!!!  I remember E50 and BG0000 but it seems like I added some other green and blue too!  sorry about that!  I know,  I’ll be mad at myself when I want to do it again too!  I am too free-spirited when I color! lol  Juniper is easy… E40’s… chirp, chirp!  Penelope’s hair is the E30’s…jacket BG72, 75, 79…face/legs E000, 00, 01, 21…cheeks R30 & R11…boots cool grays…the word snow BG93, 96, 99.
