Platform Pop Up Hat’s Off To YOU Card…

Hi everyone! It’s a happy time of year for so many kids! I made several grad congrats cards but this is the only one I took pictures of.

I used the popular Lawn Fawn Platform Pop up die set! I have made so many of these already! It’s so fun and easy too!

I used an older Avery Elle stamp and die set for the images and the congrats, graduate strip is from Taylored Expressions. I’ll link to a newer version of the images below.

Super fun images… I didn’t think to get a picture of it flat. It fit into an A6 envelope.

Because I used Copic Sketch Markers to color, I die cut an extra piece of white cardstock to put on the back of the images to cover up the coloring. It worked great for the hats because then I could sandwich the acetate strips inbetween the colored hat and the plain hat die cuts.

Here’s the back… I used a two tone 12×12 bo bunny 65# cardstock for the base and the add on backdrop. The colors are kinda weird in the pictures but they matched much better IRL!

I stamped the sentiments from the set with Ranger Archival Black ink.

Hi everyone! I LOVE cute! I don’t make it near as much as I used to but I still love cute and coloring!

This is the NEW Lawn Fawn Platform Pop up die and MFT Birdie Brown Sittin’ Pretty stamp and die set.

They’re small images so fast coloring! Every girl should have a birdie singing happy birthday to her don’t you think?!

Tim and I have three granddaughters that turned 17 already this year! HOW? Time flies indeed! Just yesterday they were playing house!

This fits in an A2 size envelope. If you used taller images, you’d need to use a larger or square envelope.

I used paper from my ancient stash…

The fence is from poppystamps. Colored with Copic Sketch markers.

poppystamps Potpourri Flower, Freestyle Smile, Whittle Snail Card…

You’ve got mail! It’s always so fun to get mail! Here’s mail and a smile from this cute blushing snail! lol

I die cut the NEW Potpourri Flower Set in white and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. I didn’t look at any pictures for coloring…flying by the seat of my pants again! haha

I layered the NEW ps Penelope Pinpoint Frame on top of Taylored Expressions Lemon Meringue cardstock A2 size panel. Then I adhered those two, to a purple from the Memory Box Twilight Purple 6×6 cardstock pad.

First I laid the flowers out down the left side of the panel from the top. Took a picture of them with my phone and put the snail down to see how it looked, it was too close to the right side of the card! I didn’t like it there! So I picked the flowers up with a piece of press and seal and reversed them to the right side bottom corner instead. Much better!

Then I die cut the NEW ps Freestyle Smile all in white, it was ok, so I die cut the top in black, too bold, so I die cut it in purple, nah, so I die cut it in yellow and that was it! I’m a terrible decision maker! lol

The sentiment is from ps Whittle Wild Animal Sentiments stamp set. Stamped in the MISTI with versamark ink and heat embossed with Lawn Fawn white embossing powder.

I glued the flowers down, then the snail and sentiments with mounting tape. Then I pulled up a couple of the flowers to put one on her head and one right close to the body.

I added yellow Fairy Gems last.

I forgot to talk about the snail! It’s die cut in kraft cardstock and edges inked with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and a mini ink blending tool. I went over the mouth, eyes and added eyelashes with a micro black fine point pen.

It’s a bright card and more fun in real life. I like it! That’s saying a lot of me cuz I don’t love yellow and purple! lol

It’s a rainy, dreary day here so we need bright! Have a good one anyway! ttul!

Memory Box Floral Birthday Card and poppystamps Floral Miss You Card…

Hi everyone! I did a little flower coloring with Copics Monday. Colorbook therapy! It’s been so nice here, I hope the flowers don’t come up to soon!

I started with an A2 size cardbase. Topped it with a panel of the NEW Memory Box Black Glossy Cardstock. It’s heavyweight and die cut so nice for the Happy Birthday sentiment too!

Then I die cut and glued together, three for each side, the NEW Hex Half Pinpoint die. Don’t you love how it makes the perfect base for the NEW floral dies?!

Here’s a picture of the dies I used and for the flowers and leaves I colored.

Here’s a picture of the Copic Marker colors I used.

It didn’t take a whole lot of cuts! I was surprised. After coloring, I used black and white glaze pens to add some accents.

Look at this NEW Memory Box stamp set!!! (Full picture lower in the post) It matches the font of this Happy Birthday Posh Script die and the Miss you Posh Script die on my next card! I absolutely love matching fonts for the inside of my cards! ❤

This picture I’m trying to show a little of the dimension. I didn’t use any foam mounting tape and it will still go in the mail under ¼ inch thick for one forever stamp! YAY!

My second card for today is just plain floral fun!

The Memory Box Berry Red 6×6 Paper pad came out for this card. I love having 3 shades of each color to coordinate! It sure saves time digging through cardstock to find matching pieces!

I started with an A2 size kraft cardbase. I die cut the NEW poppy Penelope Pinpoint Frame in white, glued it on. I die cut the poppy Lattice Plate in white and glued it on.

Next came the NEW super pretty poppy Flower Field Frame die cut in one of the pinks in the Berry Red 6×6 pad and glued on.

Then some Memory Box Fairy Jewels for the flower centers.

Haha! Isn’t she the cutest! Look at that snout! I added a couple more layers to it. lol

I added the eyelashes with a color pencil! I also went over the partial cuts at the ears, eyes, snout and legs with the same color pencil.

Miss piggy is just one cut and I edged her with a little gathered twigs distress ink so she wouldn’t look too clean! haha The thought did cross my mind that she’d be super cute in a mud puddle!

She’s super cute…not sure who I’ll send it to but usually when I type that as soon as I hit publish I think of someone!

poppystamps Tall Curved Heart Arch Card…

Happy Valentines Day! Here I am at the last minute sharing one more heart card!

I die cut the new poppystamps Tall Curved Heart Arch two dies from white cardstock and colored both with Copic Sketch Markers. R24, G82, G85, E42 and E44.

I love this sentiment from poppystamps Marzipan Greetings. I inked with Versamark in the Misti and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I die cut two poppystamps Tall Curve Background from a piece of Simple Stories woodgrain pattern paper and layered them on the poppystamps Oval Fold Frame die cut in Memory Box 6×6 Garland Stripes and Dots pattern paper pad.

I colored a scrap of white with R24 and die cut some small hearts using the small heart die that comes with the Memory Box Heart Streamer Globe die. I glued them to the oval that is a die in the Oval Fold Frame set.

It’s an A2 size card that should mail easily with one postage stamp.

It turned out fun! I always love kraft and paper hugs! ❤
