Dots and Stripes…

It’s so exciting to think Spring, working with fun Springy colors and today. I’m using Spring Birgitta and Bunny Hansel. Bunny Hansel and Spring Birgitta were stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with copic sketch markers

Neenah classic crest super-smooth card-stock for images and tulip border. The tulip border is punched and then colored with copic sketch markers.

Our ATS Weekly Wed. challenge this week from Lesa is to use a newspaper or book page in our creation. I have a couple old dictionaries that I love to use…see my orange puffy heart sticker marking the LOVE definition! cool! I used Emma with her pumpkin wagon but I cut the pumpkin off and used the flower from a set by Cookie Crumbs. More teeny orange puffy heart stickers in the flower centers. Emma is stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with copic sketch markers. Blue violets, Orange and blonde hair. Look back in previous posts for the numbers. I colored her in the wee hours of the a.m. today, so I didn’t try to keep track.

Time for a new challenge at La-La Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog! Hope you’re having a good week and ready to join in! Kathy from the La-la Design Team created a sketch for us to use….be sure to head to the challenge blog to see what the other gals created too!

Teddy Bear Lala is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with copic sketch markers…photo below.

Here is Kathy’s very fun sketch! Hope you can stamp with us this week for LLWWC27!

The sentiment is from an older Hero Arts wood mounted set and stamped with Versafine Black ink
Lala is stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Super-smooth card-stock and cut out with the nestabilities rectangle die.
I left Lala in the die and inked it with the Ink Blending Tool and Antique Linen distress ink
I distressed all the paper edges with the Tim Holtz paper distresser tool
flowers are punched from the EK small paper shaper retro flower punch
other punches are from the Punch Bunch
1 1/4 in. circle punch from EK Success
pattern paper is a download from Zoe Pearn’s blog – I printed it on a 65# cover weight felt card-stock so it has texture! Texture works great for distressing.

After the fact….here we go…you’ll always have that with me…wishin’ I’d used ric rac somewhere and those teeny Bazzill brads! In stock at 7Kids now…

ATS Weekly Wednesday Challenge…

Another fun Challenge at All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog! Christine from All That Scraps asked me a few weeks ago to join the Design Team and I was delighted to say, “yes”! I love her stamps! This is my third post for the team but I never know how to blurt out my exciting news! lol Takes me a while, I guess! lol

This week we’re following a recipe: (glad it’s a stamps, paper, tape and scissors kind of thing!)

4 embellishments – I used Making Memories glitter brads
3 papers – I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses pattern paper
2 colors – I used shades of pink (R30’s & E07) and blue green (BG0000,000,02)
1 image – I used a stamp from CC Designs Otis and Milo Winter Wishes set

I inked the Otis and Milo stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic Sketch markers. Martha Stewart’s snowfall punch around the page set for the corner and border. Matted with Chili card-stock from Prism.
