Pondering Emma…

Whatcha’ thinkin’ ’bout Emma?!  I think she’s sad because there isn’t anyone around to pull her in the wagon.  Wait!!!  I made it a birthday card….she’s contemplating how old she is!  There that’s it! ♥  She’s sure a cutie!  Part of the Take A Seat kit from CC Designs.

Emma is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I stamped her first and then masked her with eclipse tape then stamped the wagon with the stamp a ma jig… I have a tutorial on this in the sidebar if you’re interested.

Spellbinders nestabilities squares and the new Magnolia Doohickey lace… love that lace die! I cut it out of felt and edged it with a little Vintage Photo Distress ink kinda pounced on with the Tim Holtz Ink Blending tool.

Graphic 45 pattern paper, Bazzill card-stock, SU tag and scallop circle punches,  EK Success circle punches,  Spellbinders cherry die,  Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.  The card is 6×6 in. square.  I edged the papers with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday 154.   Sweet Stampin’ Challenge Blog’s theme right now is Distressed Birthdays.

I took too many pictures of this card trying to decide what direction was the best… obviously I couldn’t decide so you are subjected to all these photos today! hahahahahaha…sorry!  Guess that’s why I normally just take front shots!  whew… Maybe tomorrow I’ll do better!!!!  maybe….and maybe not!  I never know! lol  Bye for now!  OH,  I’ll leave you with one more photo! lol  ♥♥♥

Pumpkin Baby….

So adorable and fun to color!  CC Designs Sweet November Baby Trick or Treat Pumpkin is new for August and you can find it HERE!  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  The orange in this Mine Minds Eye paper was a little different than what I think of as ordinary orange so I used  E95, 97 and YR18.  I love this rickety looking fence border punch from Martha Stewart HERE.  The pumpkin border is a new EK Success border punch.  The pumpkin charm is from Inky Impressions HERE.  I forgot to take a picture with the tag pulled out!  I stamped the sentiment on the tag.  The leaves border is a CC Designs stamp also HERE.   I stamped it in Antique Lined Distress ink.  All the papers are edged with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress ink HERE.

Here’s a close up of this little guy…

I used the Friday Sketchers Challenge Blog sketch…I had to consider the dividing line on the ledger paper as the separation in the sketch! I read someone describe that as creative license!  Is there a tax on that yet?! ugh!  sorry about that! lol

The challenge on the Critter Sketch Blog this week is Think Fall… cool… I’m ready for cooler weather and low humidity and low pollen… yep,  I’m picky! lol

Can you believe tomorrow is September 1!  eek!  Thanks for dropping in! See you tomorrow!

Pretty Emma…

Emma says take a seat in my living room….meet pretty Emma from CC Designs new Take a Seat Kit.  I’ve been thinking about what I wanted to do with the living room scene stamp for a few weeks now.  I have always loved what I call interactive stamps…anyone have a cooler description for me? (coordinating and companion are more ideas…  Stamps that work together to create scenes, challenge me! I’m hoping my photos show what I’ve done.  I paper pieced pretty much everything.  Emma is colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I stamped her legs twice and popped them up. The arms of the chair are stamped on the pattern paper twice and popped up.  The lamp shade is stamped twice and part popped up and then then I cut a piece from the stool and glued it on the shade to jazz it up!

Here it is straight on…

The papers I used are double sided from a K & Co. card tablet… I fell in love with this tablet and purchased three so I would be ok using one!  ugh!  what is it with hoarding stuff anyway! lol  The flower is from Prima.  The little scallop border is a Martha Stewart around the page set and I just wanted the itty bitty scallop showing. The sentiment is from the Amy R Beach set.  The tags are a Stampin Up punch.

Here’s a view from the top….

I wanted to use the footstool but I just couldn’t quite get the perspective right for placing it under her feet.  So it is the accent piece on the easel bottom panel.  It needs a message but I’m not sure what I’ll use this for yet,  so after trying things for a couple hours I decided to wait! lol

I’m linking my card to the following challenges…

Thanks for stopping by!
