Leisel and her wheelbarrow

I am just lovin’ how this turned out!  Leisel for Lizzie Faith,  one of our granddaughter’s  that just turned two yesterday.  Leisel and her wheelbarrow is from CC Designs,  just the cutest thing…yep,  there’s my signature little white flowers too!  Colored with copic sketch markers. Hope she makes you smile!

This will be mounted on a piece of 6×6 wood,  edges sanded and hopefully it’ll work in a grouping on a wall in her room or playroom.

Here’s a close up and then I’m off to spend the afternoon with another granddaughter that is turning six today!  Happy Birthday Attie…hopefully I’ll post her card tomorrow! lol  I’m having fun with all this cuteness!

The fence stamp is HERE. Pattern paper is by American Crafts. The cloud background is a background stamp from Hero Arts…I’m really liking it a lot! Happy stamping to you!

Inky Impressions…new Lili

Lili’s slumber party….we had more slumber parties in our house growing up! I don’t know how my parents could do it! In the Summer it was tents in the backyard! Running in and out of the house…oh yikes! I wasn’t good at slumber parties with our daughters!

This week at Inky Impressions Challenge blog we’re supposed to use stitiching…well, I forgot and had to take this all apart and add stitching! ugh! I decided to use a sketch from Splitcoaststampers.com – sketch challenge SC246…it was a challenge alright! lol I wanted to use this new “around the page” punch set from Martha Stewart somehow…so this is what I came up with!
The paper is from a card pad by K & Company. Lili is colored with copic markers. The sentiment stamp is from Inky Impressions also.  The couch!  It is from Diana’s store!  Hope I didn’t put you to sleep reading all this…don’t want you to miss the slumber party! ha!

I colored the Jasmine Flower Fairy with copic sketch markers first and then went back in with the chocolate and white prismacolor pencils to add more contrast. I then went over those places using a paper stump wet with OMS. I used the Spica clear glitter pen on the wings.
copic colors I used…
E000, 00, 01, 11, 17, 42, 50, 53, 53, 55, 57, 59, YG63, 91, 93, G94, 99, BG99, R000, 00, 01

INTRODUCING…. Flower Lili

So cute in her barefooted way, enjoying the day and the flowers!!!

Here’s a close up of Flower Lili, aren’t her eyes, YG95,  just gorgeous? Very easy to color…truly! I used copic sketch markers to color, N1 & 7, the R20 series and nestabilities dies to cut the shapes. A little antique linen distress ink to the edges. I better not forget to tell you, this pattern paper is from Basic Grey Scarlet’s Letter 6×6 pad.

I love using punches to embellish…the little teeny white flowers are beginning to be my “signature” addition to my cards.  Easy to make with a mouse pad and an embossing stylus. Just put the flower on the pad and push down in the center with the stylus and they turn up just how I like them!  I used the Fiskars apron punch and the Martha Stewart doily lace punch  on a band of card-stock that I placed horizontally on the card.

Leaves punched, distressed and the Martha Stewart Cosmo flower punch with a Making Memories rhinestone brad in the center finish off the punched elements.
