Hi everyone! Here’s some Spring for you! What a fun collection from Spellbinders designed by Simon Hurley! The Tulip Garden release!
I used the 3d embossing folder for all three of my cards. I used the coordinating stencil set on two of the cards, ink blending with Distress ink pads.
This one I colored with color pencils after using the embossing folder. Very fun and easier than you would think!
Sentiments are all from the new Simon Hurley handwritten sentiment die set.
Here’s some more pictures…
The happy birthday and hello cards are one embossing folder piece. 5 ½ x 8 ½ cut in half at 4 ¼.
Well, then I trimmed them down so I could mat with a small margin of black showing and then cardbases to make A2 size cards.
The congrats card is the whole embossed piece trimmed down to make a 5 x 7 size card.
I used Hammermill smooth color cover white cardstock for the happy birthday and hello card and a textured cardstock for the color pencil piece.

These are glorious Pam – welcome spring indeed!!!
These look fantastic, Pam! I love the sentiment dies, too. The card you’re holding really shows the depth of the embossing. I haven’t tried pencil coloring on my folders yet, but you’re giving me ideas and I’m making a note. Thanks!
Beautiful cards, Pam! I remember watching Simon’s first ever video, and telling my bestie that she HAD to go watch him – he was ‘going places’. I love his products, and you’ve showcased them perfectly!!! Thanks for sharing! (I’m home again for a couple of weeks – hopefully to CA next). Back to CO early June, to wear our babysitting hats for 11 days!
