Hello and happy days to you and me! It’s beginning to look like Christmas here on my blog! YAY! It’s always challenging to decide what to start with but I guess I felt like coloring because I started with a stamp set and coordinating die first!
Festive Christmas Greetings is the name of this set…
Traditional, traditional, traditional! lol Red, Green and Gold! What can I say! lol
I used the NEW Pine Needle Trio die to back the oval, colored piece…
and the NEW poppystamps Scalloped Stitch Frames to set it all off!
I cut the Pine Needle Trio in Taylored Expressions Sweet Basil cardstock…
I stamped and heat embossed the main image and watercolored with Tombox Dual Brush markers and a #4 Silver Black Velvet watercolor brush. Links below…. Holly – 177 and 249. Leaves – 126 and 098. Berries – 847.
The cardbase is Taylored Expressions Cherry Pop cardstock.
I used Neenah Solar White 110# for all the white.
Back to basics! This is the kind of stamping I did back in 1994 when I started making cards! Makes me smile… back then we could only wish for punches that weren’t stars, hearts or circles! lol Now look at all we have!!!
Craft away everyone and I’ll be back with more fabulous from the Memory Box/poppystamps release! Thank you for clicking over!
Here’s what I used to make this card!
Starlitstudio.net has the release in stock and as always, super, super fast shipping and awesome prices! Simon Says Stamp has their $5 off code again CZY444 Good Oct 1 – Nov 20
