Hi Friends and cardmakers! I made this card and even had the pictures taken before we had a family emergency and had to hurry out the door.
The sentiment on this card says it all though! So thankful for all who prayed for our daughter, for us and even gave to support her! It’s a miracle she is alive. She had 6 hours of chemo on Friday and by Sunday they said she only had 2 hrs to 2 days to live. I just couldn’t let her go. I started telling her to breathe and live, her sisters got her bone broth and we started in on her. By Wednesday she was back on living protocol and we were kicked out of the hospital much to my dismay!!! Our hearts are with her and we chat with her on and off all day.
Now about this card…I’d been wanting to use the new Memory Box Diagonal Stripe Collage die. I love it! I have another idea brewing in my head but not sure it will work. lol
Then I saw this new stamp set, Celebrate Us, awhile back that was a collaboration between Altenew and Pinkfresh Studio and I wanted it for fast colored flowers! I’m really happy with how they stamped up and how well two of them fit together to make a bouquet.
I used Altenew mini ink cubes to ink up the flower stamps. I’m gonna call this a CAS card because it wasn’t hard and I think you could make several of them fast and the white background just sets them off!

Pam, love this card and the stripe. I just bought that die and can’t wait to use it. Saying prayers for your daughter to get better. My brother is having a rough time with his second week of chemo. They are giving him some pretty strong stuff. My heart goes out to him and to your daughter. Hang in there.

That was close with your daughter! Love and prayers and family devotion can go a long way. I’m glad she’s better, Pam. I know you must be beside yourself. This card is such a bright spot in my day. The flowers really pop on the black stripes and I love that they can be colored or simply stamped. Very pretty!
