Spring Birthday Card with Distress Ink Coloring…

It’s been some time since I colored with Distress Ink Pad Refills.  I got the notion last week or was it the week before?!  ugh… time gets away from me.  Anyway, I finally finished her over the weekend and finally got some pictures taken to post.

The image is from hÄnglar Wings in Sweden. The stamps I own are unmounted rubber but they do have clear stamps now also!  So cute! I stamped her with Ranger Archival ink on Arches Hot Press Watercolor paper.

I color skin with Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo.  Her coat and hat are PIcked Raspberry and Dusty Concord.  Her jeans are Faded Jeans.  Her hair is Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.

I used a Hello Bluebird die for the tree background.  The grass die is from Lawn Fawn.  The little leaves are from an old CC Designs die that I cut up and glued on.

The sentiments are from Taylored Expressions Sentiment Strip stamps and die system.  Pretty cool and fun messages!

I hope she makes you smile!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. She is so sweet! When I first ‘met’ you, you were designing with Magnolia and CC Designs, and coloring like a crazy woman! It’s fun to see you coloring again these days – I’ve missed it! Love your card – as always, you have included such fun dies and design elements!

  2. So very cute and i love the colors you used for the skin. Now i know what colors to use. The stamp is cute too. Nice to see one of your posts. Stay safe.

  3. Cute, cute, cute! Love the scene around her and your coloring is fabulous. Love your idea for the skin colors. I would never have thought Vintage Photo. This reminds me of the Magnolia stamps, which I think are also from Sweden. Not sure as I’ve never had any. Think I got the comment thing straightened out again. Sorry it took me so long to get here!

  4. Oh Pam, this is so cute! Your coloring is perfect! I have never colored with my Distress inks but will give it a try once I have everything unpacked! 😀

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
