Here with a special delivery! This simple sweet flower makes a statement against this stitch flower wreath. I love it! A little Copic Sketch Marker coloring with the G40’s and a Y15. The little white dots are from a Signo White Gel Pen.
I think I could make this card next time in 30 minutes! A record! lol I have to tell you though, this washi tape was discontinued some time ago…like a couple years. October Afternoon is the brand. Some things are just timeless! Other tapes or a sentiment on a card-stock strip would work just as well. Check out SLS’s selection of new Alexandra Renke tapes… whoa, so cool!

I keep looking for buds on our new trees. Tim says not to expect much but I want much! lol
Here’s some pictures of them… click to see them big.
Here he is bringing the first tree after he made the hole with the same truck…then back and forth until all 3 were in the ground. (I took the pictures from inside our house)
We have a red oak from several years ago on the other side of the white oak in the front. Grow trees grow! Now the ground is tilled up and all new seed planted…lots of watering happening!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hang on to the little bit of April that’s left! haha Our oldest two grandsons are in Detroit at Worlds First Tech Robotics competition. I’m watching the live streaming…glued to the computer! Anybody else have ppl there? 120 teams from 60 countries! While the big boys are competing, the two youngest are collecting buttons from the teams! So fun!
Here’s what I used to make the card!

Love the card!! Love colors and simplicity. Hope Heather’s boys win big!!
How about some plastic leaves hung on trees…fool it into growing some…
Chuckle..
Wow those are great trees!!! Love the machine they used – I’ve only seen them on the backs of flatbeds never in action – bet it was amazing! Loving this card and especially the dots on the flower center!!!
beautiful card, pam! i love green and white on kraft. the trees look lovely!
Such a sweet card Pam. Love it on the Kraft paper.
My good friend [and fellow card maker] has a granddaughter who was on the World Champion team – maybe last year? Do you know Bobby Hagen? of Bits n Pieces?
In other news… I adore this card, Pam! Simple, and simply wonderful!
=]
What team are your grandsons on, Pam? And number? My granddaughter is a driver for Stryke Force (2767) who are the reigning world champions. I watched some today but will definitely be glued most of tomorrow. I did get to go for one day to the Michigan State Championship two weeks ago. It’s so exciting to watch.
Darling card BTW.
Another beautiful card. I love the simple ones-I can maybe make this one!!!
Simply perfect. 💕
Hi ya! So excited for those boys!!! Keep us posted – what a great experience for them. Love this beautiful card, dear friend! Thanks for sharing 🙂
such a pretty card, I love how you framed the flower like that, the washi tape it neat over the stem. You will have some nice shade in just a few years 🙂
Your card is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Friendship’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Love your card! And we are ahead of you here! Our buds are springing out on the trees already! Daffodils are blooming and tulips are up!
Beautiful card, Pam! Thanks for joining the Double D, “Friends” Challenge!
Brilliant creation and gorgeous colours for out “FRIENDSHIP” Challenge. Thanks for joining in and good luck in the draw. Double D Challenges{DT aNNie}
Oh, wow! Love how you put these two dies together, and they look awesome on the kraft. Clever, clever girl with your CAS cards always looking so fantastic! That’s a heck of a hole digger you’ve got there! The oak trees in our area are the last to leaf out. Bet the street is beautiful with all that wonderful leafy shade. I used to holler my throat sore when our son was in competitions. Maybe live streaming is easier on your voice. It sure is nice that you’re able to be there with them when you’re not able to be there with them, if you KWIM. Good luck! Glad to see your card at Double D, Pam!
What a great simple card! Yeah for your new trees! We had to have our two front trees cut down a couple of years ago because they were dying. The utility company’s tree trimming killed them. 😭 we decided not to replant due to the wires as we were afraid the same thing would happen again. We still have lots of trees around here, just not in the front yard anymore. Enjoy your 🌳!
You have proved that you don’t have to put a lot on a card to make it spectacular and so pleasing. I just love that it is on kraft cardstock. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Friendship’ challenge!

Beautiful! Thanks so much for participating in the Die Cut Divas Challenge this time and good luck 🙂
Hi Pam, I’m so interested in that special truck. Haven’t seen one like it before. To be able to have such a large ball of soil around the roots of the trees must make their relocation so much more likely to succeed. Please let us know when you see some buds.
Such a charming card – just soothes the heart! Love the beautiful die cuts, and that washi tape too! Thank you so much for joining us at Seize the Birthday challenge!
PS: hope your trees find their blossoms soon!! 🙂
Oh what a beautiful card, love how the white petals pop from the card.
Thank you for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
