Have you heard the news? Read all about it…

So exciting!!! This weekTaylored Expressions is launching their NEW line of  Premium Ink Pads!  YES! The ink pads match 12 of the 29 colors of TE Premium 100# Cardstock! They are made in the USA…love that! The initial launch includes 10 Dye inks that are fast-drying, acid-free and have superior coverage and 2 Hybrid inks that are fast-drying, acid-free, have superior coverage, waterproof for watercoloring AND compatible with alcohol markers.  Awesome! I love them!

Pam Sparks Oops a Daisy

I chose the TE Oops a daisy stamp set to show off the New inks. I stamped the solid layer of the daisies with the NEW Premium Dye inks, Candy Corn, Lollipop and Jelly Donut. Then stamped the outline layer in Oreo Premium Hybrid ink and added in some shading with the matching Copic markers. I thought it’d be fun to show how well the Copics matched.  I cut them out and cut between a few of the petals so they would bend up a bit..

I stamped the daisies on TE Premium Sugar Cube White cardstock. I used the MISTI and the stampamajig imaging sheet for positioning the outline stamped image over the solid stamped image. So pretty… I am so happy with this card… I just love how the daisies stamped up with this ink!

Pam Sparks Oops a Daisy Close

I stamped the solid layer leaves in the NEW Granny Smith Premium Dye ink and the outline layer leaves in the NEW Peapod Premium Dye ink.

For the 3 stems, I stamped the stem stamp three times with Granny Smith ink, right side up, one upside down to get the curve right and then straightened the stamp to stamp the center stem.

I stamped the sentiment with the New Premium Hybrid Chocolate Truffle ink. I just love all the colors and the color names too!

I added three of the NEW Doodlebug Matte Sprinkles, also available in the TE webstore.

My next card uses the same stamp set…

Pam Sparks Oops a Daisy Ink Release 2

For this card I just used the solid image with the NEW inks.  This daisy comes with an outline stamp to coordinate with it but I didn’t use it here. There is a die set to match this stamp set also.

For my card, using the MISTI stamping tool, I inked up the parts of the stamp separately, that way I could clean away color before I stamped. I used ink daubers to ink the stamp! If you haven’t heard of them, they are little sponge things on a plastic case that fit on your index finger. I used the NEW Cherry Pop, Granny Smith and Peapod Premium Dye inks and the Oreo and Chocolate Truffle Premium Hybrid inks.

I die cut three of the TE Stitched Banner Stacklets, one in Sugar Cube, one in Chocolate Truffle and one in Cookie Monster TE Premium Cardstocks.

I wanted to try ink blending with the new inks, so on the Sugar Cube stamped banner, I edged it with the NEW Salt Water Taffy Premium Dye ink and the mini ink blending tool… oh, I snuck on a little of the NEW Cookie Monster Premium Dye ink on the very edges too.  use.all.the.ink. lol

TE has a free Color Chart download available HEREThe new ink colors at this time are, Cherry Pop, Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake, Candy Corn, Lemon Meringue, Peapod, Granny Smith, Salt Water Taffy, Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut in the Premium Dye ink pads and Orea and Chocolate Truffle in the Premium Hybrid ink pads. The chart shows the matching Copic color numbers and the matching TE Premium cardstock name.

  1. Wow Pam…Very bold, bright and cheery ink colors for your daisies! They stamped up amazing!!!
I LOVE TE’s names they give their products…too cute! Brilliant on stamping the stems! I thought I was the only up-side-down, curvy, straightener stamper! =)
Awesome blending and great use of sponge daubers and the MISTI!!!
    Thanks for sharing with us!

  2. I am weeping – when you say you like something I know it is good. I have more ink pads and paints than the law ought to allow- pretty colors for sure!!

  3. I really love the Daisy card-just beautiful!!! The stamp I have is too thick and the lines are so heavy-you can’t make it look pretty like these!!! I might have to get this one!!!

  4. Total awesomeness – (I don’t think that is a word but…) love the first card totally – so bright and cheerful. Going to have to check these inks out, can never have too many inks right???

  5. Ohhhhhh! Love flowers and your card. Like the other ladies said, I have so much ink, I could open a store!!! Those inks are so bright but I will have to just admire your coloring. Just bought Zig watercolor pens and spent a bundle on them. However, I always love your creations.

  6. Fabulous everything! LOVE the daisies and how you coloured them. The colours are awesome! I’ve also just bought Zig watercolour pens lol, so that’s my lot for a while too! So,looking forward to seeing more of these colours which I’m sure you will show us. Thanks Pam, it is always great seeing what you create!

  7. I had heard and they are such lovely colors too, I like how you used them with your copics to give depth to the flowers they are just beautiful and love the deep color in the second cards flower too!!

  8. Both of these are gorgeous! Can’t decide which I love most, but the first one is just a tiny bit ahead because of all the beautiful splashes of color.

  9. Hi Pam, these cards are so beautiful. I love all the colors…so bright and cheery. The new inks are fabulous and a great deal especially if you win a giveaway. I also like the names of the ink colors. Thank you Pam for sharing and introducing these new inks as well as the heads up for a chance to win a giveaway. Incidentally, the card backgrounds are amazing, love the layouts and your techniques. You’re so talented.

  10. LOVE the colors you put together on your first card! Clever the way you stamped the stems, and I always love flowers against wood grain. You’ve surely showcased these inks beautifully, Pam!

  11. I like your first card, Pam. Very pretty against that background.
    However…
I LOVE your second card. LOVE it so much that I NEED that stamp for myself!!! The colours are just beautiful, Pam 🙂

  12. OK Pam… you are enabling me again… 😉 Love the cards and the new inks. I really like how the stems aren’t black lines filled in. ❤
