Magnolia Tilda with Hanging Star…

I used adorable Tilda…she’s a melt your heart cutie… it just dawned on me I didn’t glitter up her star! hmmm…use your imagination here! lol  Bo Bunny pattern paper pad…Basic Grey ribbon…Nestabilities dies and a matte gold card-stock….oh, a little bit of frosted lace stickles on her wings.

I stamped Tilda on Papertrey Ink white card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.  Hair – E50, YR31, 21, 23, 24, E37… Skin – E000, 00, 21, diluted R30… dress – forgot to color gray first… I knew I was forgetting something! ugh! R24, 27, 29, 59… star – YR21, 23, 24… wings – W00, 0, 1, 3.  I edged the circle with Forest Moss Distress ink and my ink blending tool.

I’m linking my card to the following challenges… Everybody Art Challenge blog – Anything Goes… Stamp Something Challenge blog – Something with pretty papers… Crafty Creations Challenge blog – Let it shine…

Thanks for stopping by!  I love hearing from you and seeing what you’re up to! ttul!

Why the whole world runs on Blogger is a mystery to me, the bloggers are always complaining about it yet they continue to use it!! Have a great rest of the week. I’ll be sure to grab the new sketch and see what I can come up with.

  7. Hi-
Love your card. Just found some of the paper online and I think this will be my christmas card! I am puzzled by your comment that you “forgot the greys first” Can you explain that? Did you mean the grey around the image or to darken the red?? The reason I ask is that I (duh) never thought to use the grey around the image first which can be a real pain when working with reds since no matter how long they dry, they still smear if touched with another color. Is that what you meant? If not, you gave me a good idea when working with reds and trying to shade with greys. Thanks for any info you can give!

  8. Oh Pam, what a beautiful card. Love the way you ‘used’ the sketch. Stunning colouring. Love, Wilma

  9. Wonderful Pam, Just like everyone has said. But I do not understand when you said before you listed the red colors why did you say you forgot to color gray first. I just got that Spellbinder set have not even taken it out of it’s case yet. That paper you used for the background is so perfect for a lot of Christmas Cards, I’m going to have to check into Bo Bunny Pattern Paper I do not have any of their paper. Wonderful Pam.
