Masculine Birthday card…

I sponged in Memento Summer Sky ink for the water….Adirondak Latte for the top and bottom with the ink blending toolCopic Sketch Markers for all the coloring after I stamped images from Stampin Up.  The sentiment is by Wordsworth rubber stamps.  One of the blogs I subscribe to,  showed a tutorial on this, (edited to add…found the blog,  here’s the link, Crafting the Web)  although I didn’t have any of the same stamps…cool…it was fun…see the splash in the water?  Should have titled this the “one that got away”!

  1. It’s wonderful I love it!!! The fishing pole looks like the one the guys bought last year to fish on vacation. Love the cat-tails. Always have loved cat-tails! Looks like Drew’s experience fishing the fish always jump just out of his reach! LOL Awesome card.

  2. How utterly gorgeous, fantastic colouring and stamping and such a wonderful sentiment.
Thanks so much for joining in at Crafty Calendar.

  3. Pam, I love this! Perfect masculine card. Love the fishing pole /beach scene with the splash/ripples in the water. Beautifully done! hugs, Angela

  4. Hey Pam. This is a great card. The colors are so perfect for a man. They look soothing too. Great job on an under-done subject. Men are so hard to buy for and create for.

    Hugs….Tracy 🙂

P.S. I’ve got a giveaway ending in a few days with low entries. I hope you come by and enter.

  5. It is a very relaxing scene that you have created. Any guy would just love to be sitting there and fishing. Wonderful water running right through the middle of the card.

  6. What a wonderful scene Pam!! I could look at this forever!
Thanks for playing along with us at Cards For Men. Good luck! Viv xx
