Inky Impressions Blog Hop!!! New stamps!!!

It started Saturday and it’s lasting all week!!! Eight new rubber stamps from Inky Impressions. If you’ve just come to my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the hop you’ll want to go to Nicole’s blog…she is the owner of Inky Impressions rubber stamps and she has a great giveaway you won’t want to miss! Leave a comment here on my blog and you’ll be included in the random drawing for my blog giveaway too! (it’s a surprise)

INTRODUCING…. Flower Lili

So cute in her barefooted way, enjoying the day and the flowers!!!

Here’s a close up of Flower Lili, aren’t her eyes, YG95,  just gorgeous? Very easy to color…truly! I used copic sketch markers to color, N1 & 7, the R20 series and nestabilities dies to cut the shapes. A little antique linen distress ink to the edges. I better not forget to tell you, this pattern paper is from Basic Grey Scarlet’s Letter 6×6 pad.

I love using punches to embellish…the little teeny white flowers are beginning to be my “signature” addition to my cards.  Easy to make with a mouse pad and an embossing stylus. Just put the flower on the pad and push down in the center with the stylus and they turn up just how I like them!  I used the Fiskars apron punch and the Martha Stewart doily lace punch  on a band of card-stock that I placed horizontally on the card.

Leaves punched, distressed and the Martha Stewart Cosmo flower punch with a Making Memories rhinestone brad in the center finish off the punched elements.

Tilda cooking up somethin’

MyrnaB-dayTilda09SideThe project this month at the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog is this accordian folder holder made with business size envelops, chipboard, pattern papers and of course Magnolia stamps!

Here’s the front!  This Tilda is from the Fall Kit you preorder,  sight unseen! Full of yummy images!
They are available to order individually now.  The kitchen cabinet is from hÄnglar stamps, also a Swedish stamp company. I colored with my copic sketch markers and the pattern papers are from My Minds Eye.  The label punch and stamp are from Stampin Up. I used the Tim Holtz tiny attacher (staples) and my oval nestabilities dies for the rug. Hope that’s everything…give a holler if I missed something!

Oops…almost forgot! This cute little Angelica Heartsocks stamp I used on the card above is from Inky Impressions rubber stamps. I did have to alter her this time though…I cut her purse off and made a gift bag (hand cut) out of kraft cardstock. The other stamps used are from Hero Arts, Stampendous, Penny Black and Amuse. EK Success punches, medium retro flower, candle and scallop borders. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, Swiss dots, on the pink strip. Pierced the holes in the top right corner. Teeny 1/16th in. brads from Bazzill. Small flower is a Michael’s dollar punch.
Hope she brings a smile and Happy Birthday to you, Nicole!!!
