ATS Feb. Preview – Day 3…

Brown paper packages tied up with string….my favorite things!

Today the ATS DT gals are previewing the new Little Tag Set and Coordinating Die from CC Designs, HERE on the ATS blog. I made a present/box shaped card. When you lift the top flap, the front folds down and you see the inside of the present.

I used the tag stamps, the birthday sentiments, the flower stamp, the tag die and hole reinforcement die from this new set. Cool!

The February release will be in the store, HERE, February 7th!  I’ll post and remind you! lol  I used Kraft card-stock (usually get mine at Hobby Lobby or JoAnns),  Riding Hood Red SU card-stock, the floral pattern paper is from a 4×4 pack of paper by Jenni Bowlin, the ribbon is from SU and the brown kraft paper cord is from JoAnns.  The sentiments and tag frames are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and edged with Van Dyke Brown ink by Ranger that is discontinued now…hope they add this color back in one of their lines soon… it’s my fave brown for edging things!

Two pieces of card-stock both scored and folded evenly in half make up this card. I use the Martha Stewart Score Board, HERE.   I cut one piece 5 3/4 in. x 11 in. and the other 4 in. x 6 in. This card has the fold at the bottom instead of the top for the main part (box) of the present.  The box “lid” is scored and folded with the long fold horizontally and then adhered to the larger bottom part of the “box”.  Hope you can tell how it goes together from the picture.  I am going to do this again… it was fun! : )  Holler if you have any questions!

WOW!  Can’t believe it’s Friday already!  Have a great weekend and I’ll see you later!  ‘preciate you stopping by… so glad you do!!!

ATS Feb. Preview – Day 2…

Welcome Flower Kiki from CC Designs to the Kiki La Rue lineup at All That Scraps.com, HERE!  The February release stamps and stuff will be in the store, Monday, February 7th!

I stamped Kiki with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Beckett Expression Super smooth 80# card-stock… cut her out and then colored with Copic Sketch markers.  Her hair is E50, 51, 53.  Her dress is BG0000, 72 and Y21 and 23 I think (not for sure on that pinafore). The flowers are V91, 93, 95, 97.  Skin, same as yesterday’s card.

I stamped the Swiss Pixies Butterfly Fence, HERE, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on PaperTrey Ink select white and cut it with a circle Nestabilities die, HERE. The fence is E43, 44.  Flowers are the same.

I edged the sky with Broken China and the grass with Peeled Paint using the ink blending tool, HERE.  Then I went around it again with Vintage Photo…hmmm… not the right color,  it changed the Broken China so I went over the sky again with Stormy Sky.  Distress inks, HERE.

The pattern papers are from the Basic Grey Perhaps 6×6 paper pad… I cut the circle border with the scallop circle nestabilites, HERE.  I love the butterflies in the background on this paper… so subtle and shabby chic!  So… I had this piece of white ribbon from May Arts and wanted it shabbier!  So I stamped the ribbon with SU’s Sanded background stamp on both sides,  tied it in a bow and hit it with the heat gun!!! lol  I didn’t want to  mess with crinkling and dying! lol  I used a Making Memories rhinestone brad on the center of the bow.

Sneak Peek…. the sentiment…. COMING SOON!  : )

I’m linking up to the Basic Grey Challenge, HEREFlower Power!  The ABC Challenge, HEREN is for Nesties. Papertake Weekly Challenge, HEREAnything Goes and Flowers.

More cards on the All That Scraps blog from the ATS design team gals!  You can also link up to win this Kiki stamp!  Thanks for stopping by and see you later!

Arabella…Be My Valentine

Today is January Review Preview Day at All That Scraps Blog! The DT created with Amy Young’s Sweet November release… I used Arabella, HERE… she’s so pretty!  I inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, stamped her on Beckett Expression card-stock, masked her and stamped the brick background and colored her with Copic Sketch Markers… her dress is R32 and 35… her hair is E50, 51, 53, 57… skin is E000, 00, 21 and R20 for her cheeks… lips are R02, 04, 22 and a teeny touch of R24 in both corners.  The bricks are a bunch of grays with a little E43 here and there… hmmm… I think it looks a little too much like concrete!!! : )

I used the Magnolia Doohickey Flourish, HERE but out of stock…click the more info option and fill in your email address to get an email notification when they come back in stock!  The brick background Arabella is sitting on is from Magnolia.  If you would like this stamp,  email Christine from the contact us form HERE and let her know you’d like to order it.  Christine is adding images from the older Magnolia collections and would appreciate suggestions and requests!  yea!  Let her know at the above link…

Do you LOVE the sentiment I used?!  It’s a new image from the Amy R sentiment set “All About LOVE”,  HERE. It just worked with the flight of the flowers and butterflies! : )   I used a sheet of double sided My Minds Eye paper and Hero Arts pearls, HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a productive week!  I need to!  oh,  I hope! lol ttul!
