The challenge this week for All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog is….
SEWING! I love to sew….sewed for years, cross-stitch, clothes and then quilting. I don’t do it near as much since I started rubber stamping!

I so enjoyed coloring Lili (leelee)  this week for Inky Impressions Challenge Blog…I rarely color yellow! Must have been that dandelion I saw in the neighbor’s yard!!!  So bright and sunshiny yellow! lol

We’re following a recipe this week…

  • 3 layers
  • 2 pattern papers
  • 3 embellishments
  • 1 ribbon

♥ This challenge will be is for TWO WEEKS so you have plenty of time to come and join the fun.  ♥  No need to use Inky Images but if you have them we would love to see you use them! ♥ To be eligible to get Inked by the Inkettes you must have all creations uploaded to Mr. Linky by May 3rd Midnight Eastern Time.   ♥  Check out the charming Inky cards by the design team gals HERE.

I used the sketch for this card from the Crazy 4 Challenges blog (Sat.) so I’m linking up to them…. The challenge at Pile It On (Sun.)  is Spring and my Lili sure fits that!

I just had to get started stamping and coloring the new Magnolia Spring Kit stamps…this one is called Lady Tilda and is part of the new Fairy Tale collection.  She’s so sweet and easy to color too!

Week #25 on All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog is to use “distressing” in your creation. The paper I used already has the distressed feel to it and then I used ink and the Tim Holtz distressing tool to distress it even more!

I used the sketch for this card from the Sketch and Stash Challenge Blog (Monday) and the challenge to use something new, never used or neglected from your stash.  That pretty much covers the whole card!!! lol  New, would be the stamp for sure!

Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog (Tuesday) wants a Cutie Pie… Kiki is that!  well a Cutie Cake anyway!

Creative Card Crew (Tuesday) theme is “Happy Birthday”…

the ROYAL Battle continues…week #3

The Royal Battle, over at the Greeting Farm is a battle of teams, and depends entirely on VOTING. It goes like this: there are teams of three to five players. Each Wednesday a new Battle challenge is issued. One of the team members has to make a card to meet the Battle challenge. Folks have a chance to vote for three cards each week. The top half with the most votes moves to the next Battle. Each team member has to take one turn. Hopefully, we make it to the final round and a chance to win a big prize.
The team I am playing with is called the Card Sprouts…cool! The Greeting Farm has a line of stamps called the “Sprouts”. This week the challenge is to create a scrapbook page and it is Kim’s turn to play for our team! Twenty five teams playing this week and the cut happens Tuesday night at midnight…Twelve teams will carry on to next week! We need your vote!!! Here’s a link to Kim’s submission for the Card Sprouts! Leave a comment and that counts for a vote…for some reason some of the pictures aren’t showing up…you can see a closer picture of Kim’s page HERE,  the last photo in the post.   Hope you like it and vote for us!

I wanted to create a card for my post today using one of The Greeting Farm stamps that hadn’t seen ink yet!  I love postal “things”  so I had to have this mail carrier cutie!!!  Her name is Bree.  Our youngest daughter’s name is Breanna so then I really had to have her!  I’m linking her up to Monday Mania on the Club Anya blog,  the Pink Elephant Challenge blog – 1 image, 2 dies (standard circle and scallop circle), 3 of your favorite embellishment (three brads) and Stamp With Fun – a sketch.
