A CAS card and NEW stamps are in the store!

Our swap theme for stamp club today was Spring!  I’ve always loved this sentiment and I love how CAS this turned out!  Memory Box dies and the sentiment is from Whipper Snapper.  Cards by the gal’s in our club are HERE

I used this card for an excuse to remind you that the March Release CC Designs stamps and dies are in the All That Scraps store today,  HERE… you know… just in case you need a shopping excuse and a coloring fix!

I’m linking my card to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate all the views and fun comments on my cards this week and I plan to get around to see you all soon!  So fun to share with you and learn from you too!  Happy weekend!

Penelope and Zip…

Penelope and Zip definitely brighten the day!  Super cute!  I stamped them both with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Hammermil Color Copy Cover,  cut them out and colored them with Copic Sketch markers.  Penelope’s dress colors are BG11, 53, 75.  Hair colors are E50, 51, 31, 34.  Shoes are E40’s.  Zip is colored with YG00,01,02,03.

I used my favorite die ever to look like tree branches up in the left corner and sprigs down with the sentiment.  The little flowers I used today are from a Martha Stewart border punch… teeny four leaf sweeties.  I lay them on a mouse pad and push down in the center with the smallest tip embossing stylus.  I did put a black mark in the center and a teeny bit of R81 too.

Amazing again how easy it is to layer with the Perfect Layers Tools/Rulers… I used my Omnigrid 1 in x 6 in. ruler and mini rotary cutter to cut around the sentiment… then cut the layers with the Perfect Layers Tools 1/16th in.   Sweet!  love them! (link on the right in my sidebar)  Yes,  I am an enabler… but I will never tell you about something that I’m not completely sold on too!

What a happy dragonfly!  I sparkled up his wings with Distress stickles.. the clear one… Man that stuff comes out in a blob!  I had to spread it around with my paper piercer… the hole is too big in the bottle or I just don’t know how to do it!   I do like how it looks though… whew… he’s so cute all cut out!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing the CC Designs March Release Previews with me!  Click over to the All That Scraps blog, HERE,  for more inspiration from the team and a chance to win the NEW Sweet November release!

Spring Has Sprung…

Spring Has Sprung  is a NEW set for March from CC Designs.  I combined it with the NEW Swiss Pixies Bunny Lucy and  the ticket stamp from the NEW Spring Logos set.

I stamped these cuties with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Hammermill Color Copy Cover card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.   All the grays are the T’s.  I made an Easel card with one add on.  I have a couple videos on making this type of card… HERE (2 min. long)  and HERE is a video with two add-ons (3 min. long)…

March is blowing in like a lion in Iowa this week… Sunday started with snow all day and cold…yesterday the high was 74˚!!!  Crazy!  Is it only in Iowa you can experience all four seasons in one week?! lol   Have a good one!

I used the Martha Stewart grass border punch but I couldn’t find it to link to,  so I linked to the Magnolia Doohickey grass die and the My Favorite Things grass die.

Daisy Knitting…so cute!

I can hear those needles clicking!  Two of our daughters knit and they make gorgeous things!  When I saw this image I loved it!  wonder what I was thinking though… none of our three daughters have blonde hair!   This is dear Daisy, from Marianne Designs Don and Daisy clear stamp line.

I used the Perfect Layers Rulers and matted everything in sight, just cuz I can, easily anymore!  LOVE them!  This ad is so fun to see the before and after!  It’s linky if you want to click over to the site and see more about it!  Some of you have watched my video where I’m using the rulers… it’s HERE.

The scissors die is from Marianne Designs also… I cut it out of silver mirror card-stock… love that shiny stuff!  It worked so neat!  I poked a hole and added a screw brad… it looks real!  I linked to JoannaSheen.com and the price exchanges out to $6.22 and that includes shipping!   Not sure where to send you for the mirror card-stock…maybe Marco’s paper.com?

I stamped Daisy with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers.  I used one of the new colors even!  BG 57!

I finally used a couple of the first Memory Box dies they came out with last year.  The button border and the button set.  Very fun!  I did stamp the dotted circles on them from an old clear set I have from Carolee’s Creations.  I layered the individual buttons on top of the button border die… they MATCH!  awesome!  The pattern paper is October Afternoon Farmhouse pad, the button card paper is from that pad also and the thread top embellishment is from Pink Paislee… I think it’s called Vintage Vogue but not completely sure about that.  I will try to find them to link up!

I’m linking my card to the Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge blog… 3 Different Papers

Have fun creating whatever you’re up to!  I’ve been attempting to organize a bit… ugh… why does it seem worse?!  It has to get better!  At least my desk has all the Christmas debris thrown away… you know, the die cuts you didn’t use etc. hehe

Thanks for stopping by!  I love hearing from you and seeing what you’re up to!
