Fall Birgitta…

New for September from CC Designs! This sweet little Swiss Pixie Birgitta! What a doll! You’ll find her HERE in the store at All That Scraps. I stamped her on PaperTrey Ink card-stock, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic Sketch Markers. Hair E31, 55, 57, Skin E000, 00, 01, 11, diluted R20 Dress YR61,65,68, 97 Fence E40’s. Nestabilities square dies and a Marvy little leaf punch.

Dig this new leaf border from EK Success… cool! I added the embossing lines and rubbed a little brown ink on it too. Papers are Basic Grey paper from a couple different 6×6 pads. Manilla is the script paper pad. Sentiment is from Rosie’s World and the oval punches are by EK Success.

Violets for you…

Welcome to Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge 65 – this week, a sketch with a spin…Korin says to use a tag!

I used my new Magnolia Doohickey tag and border Dies HERE, Basic Grey Kioshi 6×6 pad HERE, Doodlebug flowers, Violet Plant F1770 and sentiment stamps from Printworks HERE. I can’t find the violets on the site, so just write that in when you order in the comments and Nicole will add it to your order and send you a paypal invoice. This is an “odd” size card…I’ve been making my own envelopes with 12×12 card-stock and I love it! The Martha Stewart scoring board HERE has an envelope making guide and it is awesome! I just “wing” it, you know, kinda like making soup! lol Really though, there are great directions and measurements right on the tool! I did use the Ink Blending tool and Distress ink HERE on the edges of the tag and some of the papers. An awesome sketch and I love the violets on the tag! I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink HERE and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. (G20’s and BV0’s).

Lazy afternoon…

Cute Nora colored with all the Warm gray Copic Sketch Markers. I used Basic Grey’s Scarlet Letter 6×6 pattern paper pad, EK Success wide staples and small retro flower punch, Martha Stewart branch border punch, black pearls and the sentiment is from a CC Designs. Almost forgot the scenery again! It’s a CC Designs set.

I started out coloring pretty much everything, even the sky with W00, then added in each color up to W9 and then retraced my steps back down from W9 to W00! I have a couple other cards on my blog colored like this too… Here and Here. I love this “style” of coloring.

I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday…

Color Me Copic blog is having their first challenge with black and white coloring. There is even a tutorial…(although she colors different than I do…I color light to dark and retrace my steps and don’t use the blender pen for coloring)…really cute cards…so fun to see what others are doing to get a similar look!

Another Honey beatin’ the heat!

I love the “Honey” images that Christine is drawing for her line of stamps, CC Designs. The one I’m using today is named, Summer!

Lesa challenged the Design team for All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog to a color challenge this week….so you get to be challenged next! This one sent me searching through my cropper hopper paper holders for awhile…. light yellow, light blue and pumpkin!!! This paper is an old set from Chatterbox… the sketch I used is from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog.

♥♥♥You’ll see I have a new widget in my sidebar…. pause for a FAMILY MINUTE! lol Tim and I have three married daughters, our middle daughter Amanda and son-in-law Tim, have adopted two children from Ukraine, one in Oct. 08 and one in Oct. 09. They are in the process of adopting two children from Bulgaria this year. It is amazing and the children are delightful. They change so fast once they have loving parents, a home, nutritious food and supplements. And of course grandparents!!! We are so proud of them! Our daughters Heather and Breanna are working to help them with a new blog Adoption Miracles. If you have time to visit, I’m sure meeting Henry and Anya will make you smile. We are anxious to meet Gloria and Mihail (Reece’s Rainbow changes their names when they put them on their website – safety precaution) later this year also! I really should have been stamping! BUT… I wanted to try making a card sketch! I love a new challenge, well, most of the time! I googled and found some instructions and this is what I ended up with. No, I haven’t made a card with it…imagine that! lol I think it would be fun though! If you try it, leave me a link to what you create!
