Totally Tilda…

I love the name of this new challenge blog… Totally Tilda!  I just had to make time to play along this first week and I hope to keep up with all their challenges… that’s a bit lofty for me but I’ll try!  The first theme is “Chocolate”, rich browns and creams with a dash of color.  I started out with this older Basic Grey paper and the paper ribbon doilies HERE from Basic Grey Capella release.  Tilda and the Garden Gate are both in stock HERE.  I did cut everything out… oh my what was I thinking but I really enjoy cutting! So no biggie!  Some older Prima flowers and the punch center from the Punch Bunch,  Martha Stewart butterflies, “thinking of you” stamps is from Penny Black  and Stampin Up Melon Mambo card-stock.  OH,  don’t forget the nestabilities dies… HERE.  Tilda and the Garden Gate are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I used the E50’s and that is all.  That one cheek got a little “bit” too much color IMO…oh bummer…some colors just don’t come off either!!! lol  Oh well,  it was fun,  I’ve been wanting to try the sepia look!   I’m also linking to the Cards Blog for their Monochromatic coloring challenge!  oh happy stamping, cutting and coloring! Isn’t it amazing how the stamping world has grown!

see ‘ya later!

You’re a SUN-sational Friend…

Sketch Challenge for All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog this week.  I like creating sand and water scenes,  do you suppose it has something to do with all the fun stamps and punches to buy these days???!!!  I see you all shaking your heads,  “YES”! lol  Honey Summer is an adorable CC Designs stamp HERE.  I used Susie’s Copic PINK combo,  RV0000, 000, 00 and R81…well,  I tacked on R85 too!  The sentiment I used is from Amy R’s Beach words set HERE… love these sets… You get so many for such a great price…they stamp wonderfully too as do all the CC Design stamps!   The sand castle border and the little hole/wavy border are both EK Success border punches.   I used cotton cord to tie a square knot.  A Uniball white pen for the white dots on her cap and the clouds…aren’t they cool?!  I stamped them and cut them out.  CC Designs has a scenery set HERE that I’m going to get a lot of use out of!

Penelope and Shelly…

Penelope and Shelly make me grin and almost giggle!  Such an adorable expression and love her hair! Amy Young is the artist for CC Designs.  I made this “Box in a Bag” project for All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog. I used CC Designs Amy R Beach Sentiments for the words on the handle and the words on the tag. Penelope and Shelly are stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers (her hair is E50 – 57, her eyes are B21 & 23).  My bag and tag are both Accucut dies.  The wild grass and mini sun are punches from the Punch Bunch.  The white flower is from a Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch.  Yellow and Blue Prism card-stock… McGill 1/16th and 1/8th in. hole punches.

Talk about fun to color!  I think I’ll fill this bag with water balloons!  My grandkids love them!

Hope you can play along with us in the challenge this week…always a great prize!  All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog is HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

Cracked Glass Challenge…

The Challenge this week on the All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog is the Cracked Glass Technique.  I had to go to the basement and scrounge around to find my “vintage”  UTEE! lol

I love combining CC Designs rubber stamps. Birdhouse is HERE…Field Fence is HERE.  So many creative options.  Of course I used my trusty friend the Stamp a ma jig (link in sidebar) to position the birdhouse on the fence and the sentiment just where I wanted it!  Tim Holtz paper distresser, Distress inks and Ink Blending Tool (links in sidebar)…EK Success small retro flower punch and butterfly punch….small flower punches are from Michaels…gemstones are from Hero Arts (link to 7Kids in sidebar),  paper cord from JoAnn’s.  Bazzill Card-stock,  Kraft card-stock from DMD,  Woodgrain stamp is All Night Media.  Floral Background from a set by Hero Arts.  The images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers (links in sidebar).  Versamark and UTEE to get the cracked glass effect.

Thanks for checking out my card for today!  Hope you get time to play a long!  It’s a fun look for sure!
