Waffleflower Postage Collage Masculine Card…

Hello everyone! I’m having fun making postage cards!  We’ll just call it a birthday series! lol  One thing about it, the investment in all of it will be worth it by the time I make a zillion cards with it all!

This one is A2 size.  I used the A2 Postage Collage Die, the matching Postage Collage Blocks Die, the Postage Collage stamp set and the Postage Collage Dad Stencil set.

I used Distress Dye Ink pads and detail brushes for inking the stencils.

There are two different stencil sets for inking the backgrounds.  I’m linking both up below but for this card I didn’t need to use either of them.  I bought the set called Coloring Stencils, it has the stencil to make a solid background (which you can buy just that one) but I wanted the one that did circles, stripes and the airmail border too!!!

The stamping I did with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I think I used a woodblock stamp for the Happy Birthday sentiment.

I like to do stenciling with the Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stay-tion… I’ll link it below.

Linking to some card challenges!

  1. I love this card. I have been wanting some of the Collage items. I haven’t jumped on the band wagon as of yet. I get it that you can make so many cards even with stamps you already have. One day! Keep enjoying your crafting.

  2. This is gorgeous, Pam! Love your color choices. These “stamp” panels are so much fun and can mix and match with others you are buying along the way. Thanks for sharing with our Die cuts and/or Stencils Challenge on the Addicted to Stamps & More blog. Cathy ATS&M DT

  4. what fun summertime activities depicted on your ‘postage stamps’, Pam! Beautiful dark inking on them as well! thanks for joining us at Inkspirational: Summer Vibe! Julia xx

  5. Wow, you really went to town with your postage supplies! Looks like you have everything you need to make those zillion cards! Love this Dad set. Your inking has wonderful color and contrast and the stenciling is flawless!

  6. Masculine cards are hard, but you really cracked the code with this card, Pam! I love the postage die along with the perfectly awesome stenciling. Thanks for sharing it with us at the TTTC.

  7. Your terrific manly card and post really underline how smart it is to buy the whole shebang, Pam! It’s so pricey to do that, but it pays off when you make a lot of cards as you do. I remember when I first started out with SU and I (wrongly) couldn’t justify buying the whole matching everything. Then I learned that I spent so much time trying to match my markers and paper and ribbon, etc., and being so frustrated, but hey, this is how we learn! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

  8. Oh Pam this is just beautiful! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Stencil Fun challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often. Darlene . . . Stencil Fun Co-Owner
