Hello everyone! I’m starting 2024 with the NEW Spellbinders Stencil of the Month club. Most of the gals have already posted bright floral, pretty cards so I was trying to think of something different and thought ‘go brown’! I’m sure that doesn’t surprise you too much! lol

So here’s my take on it… I did the stenciling first in Distress inks…Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. Fun! Something therapeutic about inking up layers!
I wanted some words to stamp around it randomly so I went digging through my Spellbinders stash. I found the Kindly Deliver to my and the little envelope in the Parcel & Post Sentiments stamp set. I just used the top part of the stamp.
I found the cancellation lines in the Holiday Hugs Sentiments stamp set.
Then I needed a main sentiment to complete my card! There are sentiments on the stencils but I wanted something raised up. I found this Warm Wishes in the Christmas Die and Glimmer Sentiments set. Wishes is hot foiled and Warm is die cut out of gold mirror cardstock.
I spattered the card with walnut stain distress ink and gold calligraphy ink.
I edged with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and then I went around it with Walnut Stain Distress ink to give it a deeper brown on the very edge.
Layered onto an A2 size dark brown panel and then on to a kraft top fold cardbase.
I have another card to share soon and LOTS of NEW new new from Memory Box! woohoo!
Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy New Year to you!

I love the warm browns! The postage stamps are great with this, too. Good idea! I’m sorry about your credit card number being stolen.
