Birch Press Design Forest Canopy Card…

Hi everyone! Summer just isn’t Summer without at least one cherry card!  This NEW set from Birch Press Design has three layers and I used Layer A and Layer B.

I used two different green cardstocks, one red but I inked the little accent pieces on the berries with a little gathered twigs distress so they would shadow.

I love all the dimension!  I only glued the layers down around the edges.

I used the Birch Press Design Sugar Script Sentiments 1 hot foil plate and die set for the message.  Silver hot foil on black cardstock.

The sentiment is true!  🙂

I used a Hammermill white for the cardbase and inked it with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks and ink blender brushes.

Doesn’t it scream Summer though?

Tim was telling me yesterday that the ‘heat’ is hitting us next week.  This gal is thankful for air conditioning!

Middle daughter said she was going to have a lot of peaches and one tree is almost ready!  Yummy! I love peach cobbler!  I hope I get some! lol

  1. Just say forest, fruit, or leaves and I’m in! Love this, Pam. Beautiful detail detail in those dies and you know how to use them to their best advantage. I’ve sure been enjoying all the summer fruits this year. Can’t stop eating the white peaches, and have had my fair share of apricots, cherries, strawberries, and blueberries, too. Way better than candy!

  2. Pam… I saw these new dies… absolutely loving how you used them! The colors are great. Thank you so much for joining and sharing at Tic Tac Toe this week.

  3. Great layering and blending here Pam. Those cherries look so good you could eat them. Thanks for adding to our Gallery at Sisterhood of Crafters.

  4. Oh this is a stunner Pam! Those cherries and leaves are practically waving in the breeze against that celestial blue sky! Thank you for playing with us at Tic Tac Toe! Vicky x

  5. Wow. This is superb. Love all the detail and the colour variation you used.
