Happy Friday! Switcheroo today! Going country! Some fun watercoloring with Distress Ink Refills again and Memory Box stamps on watercolor paper. (Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Vintage Photo)
This card was easier to photograph so it’s a picture heavy post today. lol
I stamped the Sunflower Wreath stamp on watercolor paper and die cut it with the coordinating die. Then started painting. I don’t know about you but I never finish in one sitting. I lost track of how many times I sat and colored on it. Stretch out the pleasure I guess! lol
I stamped poppystamps Picnic Plaid stamp in blue on white cardstock and inked on gathered twigs distress ink around the outside edges of the panel.
I used 3M mounting tape to adhere the wreath to the picnic plaid panel.
I tied some Lawn Fawn cord around the panel and then adhered the panel to the A2 cardbase with more mounting tape.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sunflower Wreath stamp set with Versamark ink on a piece of Taylored Expressions Oreo cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love TE Oreo for white embossing on black cardstock!
My mother in law loved sunflowers and had tons of sunflower stuff in her kitchen… this card reminds me of her and her Corelleware Sunflower dishes! ❤
That’s the last picture! I tucked the sentiment under the wreath a little bit with mounting tape on the left side and glue on the right side.
Tim and I spent the evening at one of our daughters, watching the grands pick peaches and play. The boys showing off for us on the zip line and dirt bike…we almost thought we saw neowise but it was too early and just an airplane reflecting off the sun setting! lol Lots of smiles and happiness. YAY!
Thanks again for stopping by and your comments! Hope you have some cardmaking time this Summer too. It’s busy I know, going by fast and almost time for Christmas! Be watching….the 27th!
Here’s what I used to make this card…

Here’s something fun if you have time to do a little early bird shopping through July 27th for Christmas at Scrapbook.com!
How gorgeous, your watercolor Ing is beautiful, like the whole highlights. We have a sunflower field in St. Louis that is just amazing.
Beautiful card.
Love your country style wreath, beautiful shading on it too!
Glad you enjoyed your grandkids!
Oh I think sunflowers on blue gingham is just the epitome of country summertime! This is so cute! Your watercoloring is beautiful!
This is such a glorious summer card!!! The tiny bits of white are such a wonderful touch – what a great card Pam!!!
Lovely card my friend would love it as her favourite flowers are sunflowers.
Beautiful, and you nailed the country feel! I love this one, Pam
Oh, wow, love the sunflowers on blue plaid! Very countrified and fresh and just beautiful! Your coloring is awesome with the reinkers. I used to WC almost exclusively with SU reinkers. It was all I had! I still rarely finish in one sitting. Today I had to because I’ve got a deadline for something and we’re going camping again. Got to get out of this wind and all the chores!
Such patience! Love how the centers shine.
What a pretty card Pam! I love that background! The coloring is gorgeous….it looks like the centers are popped up! Love it! Glad you got to spend some time with the grandkids! Thanks for sharing!
I love sunflowers! This is so pretty!
