Hi everyone! It’s snowing here… not a lot but enough to brighten it up which is so nice! This white card makes me think of snow too! I love how this turned out… beautiful new Memory Box Scribble Rose Trio die combined with an earlier release Antique Leaf Label. So pretty!
Several pictures today…you can always tell when I’m happy with photos. haha Such a picky picture person. ugh. (the red is prettier IRL)
I die cut and glued the Scribble Rose Trio die cuts behind the poppystamps largest Double Stitch Rectangle Frames die. I cut strips of mounting tape and raised it up a little off the cardbase…mounting tape behind the roses too.
I die cut the label die and used mounting tape behind the leaves.
Then came the challenge… heat embossing in gold is easy but figuring out how to mount it…well…eek! I found some clear mounting stuff on a roll in my drawer so I just did it! Kept it behind the words and I’m ok with it. It was worth the little bit of fiddly because it really is so pretty IRL!
The sentiments are from the NEW Friendship Floral Heart clear stamp set. I want to stamp and color that up next!
You likey? lol I think I know who I’m going to send this to. Someone special for sure! One of my sister’s is recovering from a health issue so I will stick it in the mail! ❤
Size… A2
*Keep your adhesive remover handy with white cards! I think I posted before how it was a must have tool!
*The other thing I use ALL the time is a BIG pin… like a hat pin. The head came off so I wrapped some washi tape around it. It’s always beside me. I use it to remove adhesive that seeps out AND to get cuts out of dies. ❤
Then I made another Happy Heart Collage Card… I had die cut this black one before I made the orange/pink strip type one from last week. I couldn’t make it work then but all of a sudden I was inspired to use the Memory Box Christmas 6×6 paper pad plaids and it works!
I’m happy with it! I’m sure you understand where I’m coming from (well maybe not?!)… getting back into the groove was slow after Christmas. I always wonder if I really can make cards I like again! lol
And masculine cards are challenging but this one just evolved and surprised me! I didn’t really even work hard at it like usual!
The NEW Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out dies are awesome! YES to double stitches! Years ago I sewed 24/7, fashion seamstress so to speak. I remember being so happy when I was able to sew double stitches! hehe I don’t know if any of that knowledge would come back to me now! Nice to have dies that do it for me!
The stamped sentiment is from the NEW Big and Little Valentines clear stamp set. Size… 5 ½ inches square!

Thanks for the enabling … hadn’t shopped at StarLitStudio in a while, and of course I had to buy enough for free shipping. YaY for new Memory Box in the house.
Pam, just when I think your art can’t get any better, you post cards like these! I love them both. The sentiment frame on the first one is beautiful. And, I had no idea there was such a thing as clear mounting tape. Where HAVE I been? And double stitching. I was never a fashion seamstress, so double stitching was never in my arsenal. Just what haven’t you done? Cold and snowy today, so your post was especially welcome.
Love both of these cards. The first one is so classy and elegant-and the second one would also be great for my Valentine brother!!! You are amazing!!
What great cards Pam! The second one is great for a masculine card! Love it!
Love these! So pretty!
Both cards are just gorgeous, but that scribble rose is a beauty!
Absolutely loving these cards – the plaid is amazing!!!
Oh, those roses! Seriously, I had to go over to Cindy’s and look. The red and white on your card is heart stopping and pocket book grabbing. Credit card grabbing? PayPal grabbing? Well, not this time as I just came from Cottage Cutz AGAIN, but ohhh, how you do enable me! I absolutely love the masculine Valentine, too, especially now that I’m getting a better, bigger look at it and reading the deets. The pairing of plaids, the popped up center, the little accent heart with the xoxoxo… LOVE!
