Hi everyone! Thinking about Valentines Day yet? It’s crazy how early cardmakers think ahead! So much fun stuff to use! lol
Glimmer paste….so fun! I like this WAY better than glitter! I’m not wearing it! lol
I die cut the new poppystamps Ribbon Heart Sidekick Frame in white cardstock…then using the stencil that comes with the die, I did glimmer embossing paste on the hearts! I really like it! Fun texture and just kicks the CAS-ness of this card up a notch!
I heat embossed the sentiment from the new poppystamps Love and Friendship clear stamp set….I stamped using the MISTI tool with black pigment ink and detail black embossing powder. Just remember to use the anti static pouch on your cardstock first.
Any bow would work but I’ve had this skinny black gingham on the brain since I used it for the lamp post on a Christmas card. hehe
Next…the non traditional color card in a faux shaker!
Same new poppystamps Ribbon Heart Sidekick Frame and Stencil…die cut in white cardstock again and using the stencil, I ink blended on Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick and a teeny bit of Barn Door.
The background is an ink blended piece using Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink pads and the mini ink blending tool.
A few water spots…then a bit of gold spattering.
I glued some Doodlebug sequins here and there to give the illusion of a shaker, a little bit of gold and white bakers twine for the bow and the new poppystamps Doodle Happy Valentines Day for the sentiment! It also comes with the apostrophe if you like it. I’ve read that it’s fine either way. I prefer it without! 😀 It’s a really cute sentiment, so whimsical!

Both very nice Pam…but my fave is the non traditional. Great idea with faux shaker.
Hi Pam love both of the cards. Love the die you used and the sentiment on the red and white card the glimmer paste makes the hearts stand out, but I also love the colours of the second one. You did an amazing job on both cards.
i think i’m more fond of the non-traditional colors! sweet with the gold splatters!
Oh my I’m leaning toward the traditional but the more I look at the non traditional – and love that it is a faux shaker card – what a great idea. Lovve the gold splatters.
Gorgeous cards! It’s hard to choose a favorite. The black, white, and red is so striking, but one of my favorite color combinations is pink and orange.
Beautiful cards Pam!
Love both of these cards. I prefer the white and red but I love the orange of the second!
Pam, they are so sweet and lovely cards. Love both color combos
They are both beautifully done, love the glitter hearts on the first but the colors on the second is so pretty!
Pam – I really love the pastel version of this card! A beautiful take on the color of the year! 🙂
Oh, hey, I like the idea of a faux shaker! So much easier, I think, and this one is sweetly gorgeous with your yummy sponged colors, gold splatters, and this fabulous die set. Working my way back up… how perfect the Nuvo Glimmer Paste is for the hearts! No fuss, no muss! On the list it goes!
Both really pretty Pam! I’m really favoring the first card, love the red hearts and the beautiful sentiment. Guess I’m a traditional gal, lol.
Absolutely fabulous designs, Pam. They are so beauiful and love both .
