Pull up a chair, you’ll be scrolling for a few… hehe
Today is Taylored Expressions January Release Day and all the NEW stamps, dies and embossing folders are available in the TE store TODAY!
I’m spotlighting the new TE Simply Succulents stamp and die combo today. I googled Succulents and then proceeded to have fun coloring these images with my Copic Sketch Markers.
Surprise! I wrote the colors down I used!
The long planter is colored with Yoo, YR20 & 21 and the plants from the left side are YG63 & 67; BG11, 13, 15, 18; YG00,01,03,05; G40,43,46; YG90’s; G07 and V17.
The short pot is colored with E97 and E08, the plant with G90’s.
The tall pot is colored with BG53, 57, 49 and E97, E08. The plant is colored with YG90’s and BG13.
This month the release consists of several petite stamp and die combo sets! When you click over to the TE blog you’ll see all the inspiration that’s been happening so far this week on the blog and the designers that are posting today will be linked.
Next up I worked with this adorable Petite stamp and die combo called Happy Hens! Now this makes us smile! They are so cute! I love them!
Then there’s the New Picture Perfect Smile/Hello die set. I love the combo of the stitched frame and the die cut word!
I colored the images with Copic Sketch Markers.
The Henhouse is R24, E07, E35, 37, YR20, 21; BG15, 18; The chickens are YR20, 21, 23 and W0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7
I cut strips of Lemon Meringue cardstock with the paper cutter, then cut them into short pieces and glued them to the scene for straw.
The sky and the Cookie Monster card base are inked with Broken China, the ground, the frame and watermelon cardstock layer with Gathered Twigs Distress Inks.
Forest Friends Stamp and Die combo is another set that makes up so cute! Making scenes has never been easier! Gotta love that! I do! lol
I combined this new set with the Shaded Tree Cutting Plate Die. Die cut it in Toffee cardstock, then color with Copic Sketch Markers – E34, 35, 37 and G07.
I stamped the deer on Toffee cardstock, die cut him and colored with the same E Copic markers. A little white gel pen on his spots and eye.
Happy Birthday and the woodpecker are from the set also. I stamped on woodgrain tape and die cut with the Banner Stacklets Die set.
Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Inks sponged on for the sky on watercolor paper.
THANKS everyone! Another new die this month! Let’s Talk Edger 2 and then a new embossing folder, Flower Power.
A very simple card but I liked it! : ) The THANKS die is a freebie die I received from TE with one of my orders. Don’t you love that you always get a free die when you order?! I colored it with Copic Sketch Markers again! We do like to color any chance we get! lol
Deep breath…I’m done posting pictures! lol

Oops, I wanted to comment on the other cards, too! Awesome plant cards with beautiful coloring and the card with the chickens is too CUTE!
Oh my goodness Pam, do you make cards in your sleep cuz all these are just too dreamy !!! That’s so great that the stamps come with several dies so the images can be cut out as well. I love all these cute little creations but the chickens are my favorite… “just Chicken in” what a sweet little sentiment to go with this set. The deer is adorable & love the tree & stitched word frames … Wonderful coloring of the succulents & appreciate you writing down the Copic colors for us. Great stamped sentiments too.
Cute cards !!! They are so spring-like and makes me look ahead to better weather in Iowa.
Love, love, love the chicken card! The “hen house” is the best part!
