Our images and sponsor this time is DZ Doodles Digi images.  Play along for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from DZ Doodles and FOUR copic sketch markers from 7KidsCollegeFund.com.

I colored paper roses, small and medium from 7KidsCollegeFund.com with copic marker E07 to match the pattern paper. I punched leaves with the Martha Stewart branch punch and a Birch leaf punch out of white card-stock and colored them with copic markers, YG 93, 95, 97, 99. The ribbon is from Basic Grey.  The crackle stamp is from Magenta…I inked with antique linen distress ink to stamp it multiple times, same ink and ink blending tool to antique the edges. Stampin up and Prism card-stocks for matting.

I cut all the paper layers with my Tonic Trimmer, can’t stamp without it!  The cross is printed on Neenah Classic Crest Super-smooth 80# card-stock and colored with the following copic markers….

  • nails – W1, 2, 3, 5, 7,  C1, E3, 19
  • crown – E43, 44, 47
  • sky – B0000, 000

Play along with us – can’t wait to see what you creative stampers come up with!!!

I stamped this Little Sleuth from High Hopes stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with copic sketch markers.  I stamped on eclipse tape and cut it out inside the lines to mask him and stamp the Map stamp from Toybox for the background.  Explore your World stamp is from Printworks.  I punched little red hearts for one and used K&Co puffy heart stickers on the other.  I put stickles glitter glue on both sets of hearts…

Appreciate you stopping and reading this long post! eek!  sorry…but hopefully I answered any questions you’ve thought of! lol

I’m joining the Basic Grey Challenge blog with this card –  a sketch by Martine.

Cupcake Rosie is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah classic crest supersmooth 80# card-stock and colored with copic sketch markers, (photo at the end of the post).  I used Basic Grey Sugar Rush pattern paper, Zva pearl flourish,  EK retro flower punches in med and small and punches from the Punch Bunch for the rest of the little floral bouquet.  I used clear glaze pen on the cherry…love that…I tried it on her eyes…ick,  don’t like that! lol

Thanks so much for joining us today on the Birthday Hop!

ATS Weekly Wednesday Challenge…

Scroll down a bit to get to today’s La-la Weekly Wednesday challenge post…thank you!

The Challenge this week at All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge blogis to create a Tri-fold Shutter card.  There is just something about manipulating paper that draws me right in!  Love it! If you want to take a peek at my first tri-fold shutter card for one of our Grandson’s birthdays last Summer,  click here.  It’s CUTE!  Course I’m biased! lol

For my Tri-fold Shutter card with Miss Rosalie with Roses I added three pop-up/out hearts.  I haven’t seen this done anywhere and it worked out really fun…look closely and you can see them….cool.  I kept the embellishments at a minimum,  which is kinda my nature!  bah!  Quit laughing at me!  ok – there aren’t any!!!  lol  I’m counting the paper hearts…so there! lol  I love this heart punch from Stampin Up. There is a stamp set that matches the punch and I meant to get it out and stamp them before I punched,  but I forgot again! bummer…I guess I got ahead of myself! lol  The sentiment stamps are from Printworks…my all time favorite for sentiment stamps! Inked with Versafine Onyx black ink.

Sweet Miss Rosalie with Roses is stamped on Neenah Classic Crest supersmooth card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black inkand colored with copic sketch markers (photo below).  I used my Nestabilitiesoval dies – three sizes…  Sugar Rush Basic Grey pattern paper…great stuff! I inked all the cut paper pieces with Antique Linen Distress inkand my Ink blending tool.  My scor-it board for the folds,  dug out my old Fiskars trimmer for the cuts.

Another picture, the card closed…

slantFeb10

I always want to say,  “WOW,  It’s Wednesday again”!  It sure sneaks up on me fast! lol  I colored Princess Rosie for La-la Lands Weekly Wednesday challenge from Design Team member Lisa…no designer paper.  ok.  I can do that!   Rosie is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah classic crest supersmooth 80# card-stock and colored with copic sketch markers, (photo at the end of the post).

Here she is up close…a real Princess for sure! so sweet!

The inside…

Visit the La-la Land Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog to see what the other Design Team members created.  I sure had fun…I love to stamp and use stamps…I’ll post a list of what I used.

  • Princess Rosie from La-la Land Crafts
  • Dreams from Printworks, F2857 (I divided the stamp again,  used my stamp a ma jig, I can’t stamp without it!) Inked and stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.
  • Castle from Whipper Snapper, EY825
  • Flourish border from Sandylion, KSTP15 Borders 2, clear stamp set. Inked and stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.
  • Magnolia grass and clouds background stamp, inked with distress inks, peeled paint and broken china.  I inked and stamped the grass first and then the clouds because I wanted more space between the earth and sky!  I filled in the grass with peeled paint and the ink blending tool.

So many fun challenge blogs out there!  I keep finding more,  so I’ll be linking this card to these challenges…

Thanks for stopping by….later this morning I’ll be posting for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge blog…so…see ya real soon!  We’re doing Tri-shutter cards today….fun!
