The Challenge:  Do you think Julie is going to have a baby boy or baby girl?  Well,  she already has boys, so I picked “a girl”!   So,  the gals in the area swap group were to make her an atc according to what we decided.

Here’s my girl ATC.  She really is ATC size,  2.5 in. x 3.5 in.  Six cuts on the cricut to get her nice and chipboard thick…the cartridge is Stretch Your Imagination.  She’s kinda goofy looking cute!  lol

OK – so YUM might be stretching things for eating a slice of pumpkin!  So many cool vintage nursery rhyme images out there!  This one is in an old book from 1922.

I used a children’s dictionary page for the pumpkin definition.  Martha Stewart fence punch…

The cricut for the vines…

Flourish stamp is from Stampington/stamped in vivid vintage green ink and the alphabet is Paper Studio…

The flower is from Doodlebug…

Card-stock is Bazzill Smoothies in orange and blue…

The grandchildren and I have so much fun creating with the Cricut Paper Doll cartridge, that I had to make one for Lane for his birthday card.  I added lots of little details…chalked and inked everything, crumpled the card-stock for the band on his hat…stamped teeny paisley on the scarf…

headI wanted his chaps to look like leather so I used a Magenta crackle stamp on them….pantsThen to make the rope look a little like twine/rope,  I took my xacto knife and scratched it up….ropin7a very fun cowboy to make….I’ve always loved paper piecing!!!  Hope he makes you smile too!

Connie’s cute Leprechaun

charming green guycharming green guy           actual size

My sister Connie and her DH were here Sat. afternoon through Sun. morning…long enough to spend time w/our family and create w/the Paper doll cartridge for the Cricut.  The next layout Connie is planning to create is one of her grandsons in leprechaun garb….so this little green guy is going on a scrapbook page soon!

So fun to create these little paper dolls!  All the little extra touches w/the paper piercer, chalks and inking really make for a realistic looking character…He is a 3 in. doll…

Hope he makes you smile!
