Catch of the Day
A happy fisherman stamp from Art Impressions, Happy Birthday from Hero Arts and Copic markers, make for a fun birthday card!
Pink and Green challenge
The challenge for week 2 at Just Magnolia challenge blog is to use the colors pink and green and one Magnolia of Sweden stamped image…here is my entry….

I really had fun w/the flower bouquet in the bottom left corner. Picked up a small stem type punch at Outstamping Designs in W. Des Moines last week and for once I used something right away after purchasing!!!! I punched and adhered little flowers to make baby’s breath to accent the larger flower that is made from the EK Success medium retro flower and the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch. The leaves are the Martha S. rose leaf punch.
I colored Tilda with copic markers… R81, R83, R,85 & R89
The “for you” phrase is from Quickutz cookie cutter dies…
yep, that’s the Fiskars apron lace punch down the right in white card-stock…love that punch!
The pattern papers are from Memory Box…6×6 set…
red and purple buttons
no more buttons for me! lol A friend made a similar atc to the one on the right and I have the same stamp, so I just had to ask her if I could transmutate her idea and create some atc’s. The heart and lace are stamps from Paper Bag Studios …the buttons are just old ones from my stash. Canvas background is an old Sonlight Impressions big stamp…love it! Recognize the old Karen Foster patter paper on the left? I think I have a stash of it! lol
Find Joy Everyday
Super cute Edwin, Tilda and the butterflies are from the Magnolia of Sweden rubber stamp company, Spring Club Sheet of stamps. I love coloring these images with copic sketch markers – simply CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!!! Find joy everyday sentiment is from a Hero Arts clear stamp set. Flower is the EK Success retro medium flower punch, leaves are a Martha Stewart punch and the button brad is from Making Memories. The pattern paper is the Dill Blossom pad from Michael’s. I like to use the Canson 9×12 tablet of Manga drawing paper to stamp and color with the copic markers. It’s heavier than 80# cover card-stock and really blends nicely. Oh, I almost forgot, I used a Martha Stewart double scallop border punch also. I haven’t seen any butterflies yet, but I saw a wasp yesterday. Dandelions, ground ivy and violets are showing up big time! lol My granddaughters love them! Spring is here!
