My Scrap Chick Beach Box Card…

Hi everyone! Another end of Summer interactive card to share!  I guess I’m loving these box cards.  This file came from My Scrap Chick. com.

I use a Scan and Cut so I have to change the SVG file to work on it.  I follow a video that’s really easy!  I have to watch it every time though because I don’t cut files very often.  Mostly I use it to cut out stamped images if I don’t have matching dies.  Comment or email me if you want a link to the video.

This turned out so cute!  The file is actually called Guy Bird Tubing but I needed it to be a girl!  Simple fix… I cut a narrow strip of cardstock and put it through the holes on the light pink piece and made straps for her bathing suit!

We’re still having some hot days here in Iowa so that lemonade looks so refreshing!

hahahaha  I added some white lines and dots with a white gel pen.

I used some old Bazzil cardstock and some Taylored Expressions cardstock.  Cookie Monster for the bird and Confetti Cake for the box.

It folds flat so easily and slips into an A2 envelope.  The file comes with an envelope you can cut but I resized it way too big!  I was glad to find out it fit in a regular size A2.

Totally charming! lol  This file comes with a short assembly video too… amazing how the gal designed it to fit together seamlessly!

On the back I wrote, “we think you’re beachy keen”! lol

Thank you for stopping by today!

Yesterday was stressful…I had to update the operating system on this computer.  Safari cut me off to where I couldn’t log in to my blog!  Fortunately everything is working ok… I almost panicked because it didn’t look like photoshop elements was going to open but it finally did. whew.  I lost all the mail I had saved in folders in my mail program though.  I guess I was tooooo far behind in updating and it acted like it was a new computer!  So I will just type my name here today because I don’t have the html code saved in an email anymore in my blog folder.  Five years of stuff, gone. boo. I am working on another system for saving stuff!!!

ttul!

Pam

  1. Oh, ha! This cracked me up! Fun to make, send, and receive, and utterly adorable! Not so much fun about your computer. I detest that kind of stuff. My computer was insisting I add a security extension to Chrome, and now it’s causing me problems. May have to remove it.

  2. Pam this is the cutest thing ever!! Love the colors you picked – so sweet – and the highlighting so brings it to life!!! Love Love Love

  3. What an adorable card! I would like the link please! That’s too bad about losing all your saved emails. I learned a long time ago about losing files so I save everything to two external drives. This has saved me a lot of time! Thanks for sharing this adorable card!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
