God Bless America…

Stand beside her… and guide her… I miss singing these songs! Can you tell?! lol   This is what I came up with for the shoebox card party today… I LOVE this stamp!  I found it at the new stamp store 30 miles south of where I live… if you want to know about it… email me… it’s called the Craft and Hobby Connection.  The stamp is by Stampabilities… I’m calling it Lizzie Faith and Jace!  That’s our youngest daughter and DH’s two children.  Lizzie is getting close to four and Jace will be one later this month.

The postal frame is from Stampington and Co. and the Statue of Liberty is from an old Hero Arts set.  I keep my stamps!  You never know when you might need one of them!  Makes me happy! lol  Yes, the pattern paper is vintage too! hahaha  Pebbles is the brand…. 2004 or 5!  I’m sure there is a lot of knew out there that would be really fun with these stamps,  but I need to use this stuff!  ugh! lol  Martha Stewart star border punch… I think it might be hard to find…sorry I don’t have a link for most of this stuff!  The star is the smallest star from the Star Nestabilities set cut out of a thin coaster.  I did write up instructions… if you want me to email them to you,  holler!

Linking my card to some challenges… Flourishes Challenge blog– The Star Spangled Challenge… Papertake Weekly Challenge blog – Anything Goes… A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge blog– Here Comes Summer…Inspire Me Fridays– Anything Goes… Totally Papercrafts – Summer…

I know…you’re wondering why I’m showing you the inside! lol  I ran out of time to do it up right! boo!  I love this stamp though, by DeNami Design 46K is the number on it! Wouldn’t it be fun to stamp it on red card-stock and cut out the stars and paper piece them on the blue?!

ok – I’ll shut up…have a great Friday…I’m off to the shoebox card party.  ttul!

Some of the stuff I used…

Love your card Pam,eventhough I am Québécoise and don’t know the song, there is something very special about it… hard to find words, but it touched a sensitive fiber in me… Like a nostalgia, a sigh… a look at time gone by; and at the same time some thing very happy. Well, the layout is totally awesome, the colors spectacular; and I just love the star border, soooo pretty. the image is really awesome. Have a beautiful day.

  10. After all of our discussion about this card the pass few days you came up with a winner…
Love how you tied the patriotic symbols -stars, waving flag, words, and colors.
Our children do miss the memories we had due to a handful of folks in the country.
It is a winner in so many ways…

  11. This is such an awesome card! I wish we could go back to the time when singing patriotic songs & saying the pledge every day was a normal part of everyday life. Back in the days when we didn’t all have to be politically correct. Your card is just a perfect reminder of the best of this country. Well done!

  12. Bring back those days that we could all stand tall and proud to be an American. The card is beautiful and well done and a great salute to America. GOD Bless America.

  13. Thanks Pam for promoting the store it is greatly appreciated..

  14. I love your card, I am very patriotic and this one rocks. You don’t even need to decorate the inside, the words look beautiful and say it well. Thanks for sharing with us.
