Rolled flowers, hand stitching, stamping, coloring and punching, oh and a little distressing!
I used quilting thread and a quilting teeny needle (size 12) to backstitch around the oval. I pierced the holes first. I need to find a little heavier thread though…last time I did this the thread was too heavy…gotta find that happy medium! This Lili is so cute licking her ice cream cone – She looks like she could be taking a break from working at a drive up ice cream shoppe…one thing about an ice cream shoppe, you know it’ll always be cool inside! So… “have some ice cream” is from a clear stamp set by Hero Arts HERE.
I tried rolled flowers (how to HERE) …I like it! A one and a quarter inch circle punch for the larger and one inch for the four smaller flowers. The branch is from the Punch Bunch. The heart stick pin is from Fancy Pants and the pink heart pearl is from Hero Arts HERE.
You can buy Lili Ice Cream HERE, the border punch HERE, the nestabilities oval dies HERE, stamping ink HERE, Bazzill 3mm teeny brads HERE, Copics for coloring HERE and the Tim Holtz distressing tool HERE.
