The first ATC’s I created were in July of 2005. I made ten with a patriotic theme for an in person swap…each one different. I wanted to post something today but I don’t have anything new. We’ve had a lot going on with family – normal for Summer, right?! So, here is one of that series that set me on the journey of ATC creating and then below is the group.

You Can’t Make ME!!!! ATC
May is National Salad Month – well, I found this image and it just screams, “YOU CAN’T MAKE ME!”

Close up of the Quickutz mini vegies…

I used Fleuriste pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket and Bazzill Card-stock for the vegies and leaves. The bottom “romaine” is an old leaf punch from Emagination Crafts, no longer in business. I would think, the Punch Bunch or another punch company would have the same image or something similar though. Computer generated phrase – kindergarten is the font.
I like to put lines on my dies with the embossing tool and a mouse pad, to make the pieces look like more than just a die cut or punch out. The carrot does have pen lines. I edge everything w/stamp pad ink and the Tim Holtz blending tool.
Thanks for coming by and remember….EAT those VEGIES!!!

ATC Artists are from top left to bottom right….Julia Ziemann, Kelli Breuklander, Jan Larson, Pam Sparks, Rosie Radcliffe, Alice Hyde and Linda Freeman
Thanks gals! A delightful swap to get in before Summer gets busy, busy, busy!!!
No matter how long the Winter, Spring is sure to follow!
Isn’t she the sweetest little girl?! Lasting Impressions pattern paper (8.5 x 11). EK Success scallop dot border punch. Stampendous rubber stamp images in the background. Distress inks for aging and the background color. Teeny little daisy punch is a $1 punch from Michael’s. Computer generated words. K&Co. puffy heart sticker.
red and purple buttons
no more buttons for me! lol A friend made a similar atc to the one on the right and I have the same stamp, so I just had to ask her if I could transmutate her idea and create some atc’s. The heart and lace are stamps from Paper Bag Studios …the buttons are just old ones from my stash. Canvas background is an old Sonlight Impressions big stamp…love it! Recognize the old Karen Foster patter paper on the left? I think I have a stash of it! lol
