Impression Obsession Chicken Birthday Card…

Hi everyone!  Just ‘chick’en in on the blog scene! We celebrated middle daughter’s birthday last week… her current flock of new chickens is white!  Her first flock was a variety.

The sentiment on the front and the one on the inside are from Printworks Collection.

This super cute hen and chick are from Impression Obsession and designed by Anna Wight. I cut them in natural white linen cardstock and inked the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool. The red and oranges pieces are scraps of cardstock.

I was digging through 6×6 pattern paper pads with our granddaughter Anya and saw this old Cosmo Cricket pad called Early Bird and went with it!  So cute!

A couple stitched rectangle die cuts and everything adhered and it was done!  Only took me 15 minutes to decide what color button to use! lol

Thanks so much for stopping by!  ttul!

Here’s what I used to make this card…

  1. Oh. My. GOSH! I love this all over — the chickens and how you sponged the edges and it was just enough to bring them to life, the papers, the fun sentiments… and, trust me, you made just the right choice on the button, tee hee! It’s all just so darn CUTE!
