Memory Box and poppystamps Slimline Cards…

Hi everyone! A post today showing more new dies from Memory Box and poppystamps!  Memory Box is known for it’s butterflies!

Two new ones… so pretty!   These could be made up so many different ways and here I am doing monochrome! lol

Sylvan Butterfly is the larger die set and Glade Buttlerfly is the smaller die set.

I chose the new Memory Box Happy Easter Posh Script die for the sentiment at the bottom but there are a few other new sentiment dies that would be beautiful also… Thank you Posh Script, Just a Note Posh Script and Birthday Mail Posh Script.

I did some inlaying with the new poppystamps Slim Leafy Collage die.  I cut in two colors and stuck the pieces back in.  It’s pretty with them left out too.  Just something therapeutic about using the pieces laying there. lol

For both my cards today I used the new Memory Box Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die set… this is a cool set.  I especially love the smallest two for sentiments!  Trim to length!

My next card is another slimline…

I used the new Memory Box Spring Plaid Slim paper pad!  Almost too pretty to use!  I’m proud to say I used two pieces! lol  It took courage I’m telling ya’! lol

The gingham piece I die cut with the new Memory Box Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles.  The plaid panel is cut with the Slim Basic Rectangle Layers… kinda nice you don’t have to measure!

I LOVE the new Memory Box Wooden Alpha!!!  I used them for SPRING today but I’m thinking masculine next!  So fun!

The light is changing again and always throws me off for taking pictures.  If you want to get a better idea of what the green color is… I stamped ‘happy’ from the new Memory Box  Big and Little Reverse Words stamp set with Altenew Frayed Leaf stamp pad!  I tried several greens and this one was right on as far as matching this gingham paper.

The purple I used for the Wooden Alpha is from the new Memory Box Twilight Purple 6×6 cardstock pad.

What better to put on a SPRING card than flowers and this new Memory Box Gerber Stems die set is perfect for this card!  Sweet blooms that will be beautiful colored too!  Our middle daughter had beautiful Gerbera Daisies for her outdoor, wildflower setting wedding.  Good memories!

Holler if I missed something.  I’m not sure what the standard size, if there is one, is for a slimline card.  These both ended up 8 ⅝ ths long and 3 ⅝ ths wide. I finally wrote down what size to cut the base so I don’t have to keep figuring it out every time!  ❤

Have a creative Friday afternoon!  Thank you for visiting my blog this week!

  1. Lovely cards love the colour of the Easter card with the inlay. The second card is so pretty lovely spring look. Hopefully the weather will warm up so we can get some spring like weather. The wind are so cold.

  2. So, you had me at plaid, before I even looked at the rest! Beautifully done, as always, dear friend! Love these both so much! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Such pretty cards! I love that plaid! I just might have to get the Plaid paper! Great cards! I have never made a slim line card, but that might be something I do in the very near future! Thanks for sharing Pam!

  4. Well, you got me with the letters and sentiment set. It’s hard for me to resist wood grain, and I can always use sentiments. And I wasn’t going to shop, sheesh. Actually, I wanted it all, but I held back. You know how I love your cards. These two are so pretty! Love the tone on tone butterflies card and all the cheerfulness of your spring card. I’m so bad!

  5. I love these cards! You made me want to try some monochromatic butterfly cards with the dies that I have…or maybe bookmarks for my sisters two 8 year olds since they are so into reading. I have been wanting to make bookmarks for them but always do inky stuff and don’t know how to seal that kind of thing…I don’t want the ink bleeding into their books. But maybe diecut butterfly bookmarks would be the way to go. 🙂 Thank you! ❤ Your work is always inspiring!!! –Katie

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
