Memory Box Pointy Pine Needle Sprigs and Pinecone Stackers Warm Wishes…

Hi everyone! Working on staying warm here…I made ‘let it snow’ cards yesterday while looking out the window watching a snowglobe snow!  So pretty! This one I made the day before and left it at ‘warm wishes’! ❤

I made the base for my wreath design with Two Knotted Circle Wreaths die cuts, the largest size.  I die cut them in lightweight cardboard and inked them with Gathered Twigs distress ink and mini ink blending tool.

Then I inked white cardstock with the new Rustic Wilderness Distress ink, I’ve been dying to use this new color and then die cut the Pointy Pine Needle Sprigs die 4 times. (2 sprigs in each cut for a total of 8)  Yes, yes, yes, just use green cardstock and it will speed up the process.  I wasn’t hurrying and was just enjoying playing around! hehe

I did ink a gathered twigs circle on a white cardstock panel for the background.  I spattered it with water droplets too.

I die cut and assembled the Pinecone Stackers die in lightweight cardboard also.  After die cutting, keep the pieces in the die and ink blend on the back side like you would a stencil to add the dark areas on the design.  Works awesome!  I love it!

After I glued everything together, I spattered with white acrylic paint.  I had to mask the little piece of red with the sentiment cuz I didn’t want a big splat of white landing on it!

I have three more Winter cards to share, then it’s get busy on NEW Memory Box, poppystamps and Birch Press Designs!  I’m still in denial that it’s time to move on!   I might have to sneak in Christmas/Winter with Birthday and Valentine for awhile still! hehe

Thank you for stopping by! We got a lot of snow but the sun’s out and keeping me warm!

  1. This is absolutely stunning Pam! I love the soft brown blending you did on the background! It makes everything pop! Just beautiful!!

  2. Love this card and I can imagine it was beautiful outside as it was snowing. I miss those days when I lived in Illinois. Love the brown blending. Great addition to your card. Happy New Year!!

  3. One of my favorites Pam-just beautiful!!! Hope you had a good Christmas! I can’t believe tomorrow is New Year’s Eve. Not that I will miss 2020. We made an airport run early yesterday-she was due to go out early this AM-but played it safe and stayed at a motel by the airport last night. She finally got out about 5 hours late this AM. Of course, the snow started just as we were about to drop her off yesterday-so it was a little treacherous on the way home until we got past Mitchellville-then we made it home and in the garage and it started here at home!! We had 9 inches of snow here. So thankful that my nephew and his wife just live two doors from us and he has a BIG snow blower for just these fun occasions!!

  4. Beautiful card. I like the green on white with the pine cones and a little red accent. You always create masterpieces !! Hope you are doing OK and the family is with you. Happy New Year.

  5. Pam this is so wintery and beautiful!!! I especially love the brown distress ink on the wreath center, along with the water splatter and the white paint too!! So amazing!!!!! Wishing you a wonderful New Year!!!

  6. Oh, my word! Your “warm wishes” sentiment is perfect for this card because it has such a warm and cozy look while at the same time suggesting a snowy day. I dearly love the brown sponging. Fantastic!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
